“So many women, young and old are trapped inside a community where they thought there is no hope for their lives to be meaningful.”

I am a young woman who have traveled and lived in the busiest city in my country where quality education and business are easily attainable. With hard work I finished my college degree in less than four years with surprises for my parents. After college, I lived on my own, promised to myself that I will no longer ask any centavo from my parents. I vowed to be independent and promised myself to do good so that life will not be that difficult to live. That I should be able to support my brothers and sisters in the worst scenario of life. Wherever life takes me with me is the strength of surviving each challenging moments by the commandments set inside by the walls of our home above all the rules in the Book of Life.

I live in the area where hotels are everywhere. One evening, I set-up my alarm clock for a Sunday early morning church service. I prepared myself for this special occasion as Sundays for me is a day to perform my church duties few steps away from my home.

When I go for a walk, it is my personality to inspect each things that surrounds me. Appreciate the walkway, an open space to walk and feel the morning breeze. Every morning, before living at my place I grab a newspaper for me to read when I get my coffee at a coffee shop near my place. I whisper in my heart how thankful I am by appreciating the beauty-blessings that my eyes and heart can see and feel.

Sometimes I share my newspaper to a friend in church who supervises the brothers and sisters coming in for him to read when not busy. I always receive a smile whenever I had over to him the paper. I love this kind of moments.

However, this morning of Sunday was different from the regular walks that I used to enjoy.

I saw a beautiful girl being dragged my a mother or someone who is close to her or probably someone who takes care of her. Her eyes look weary and she looks like doesn’t even know where she is being taken. I guess it was the hotel that I just passed by.

In some countries, life’s difficulties continue when someone is unable to drive his life correctly. Unemployment left many individuals struggling to make ends meet, some young people – young single mothers in particular suffered most and are feeling the worst of budgeting, and many are turning to prostitution in pursuit of financial dependencies. It gets worst when a mother with that kind of living, will past it over to her children. Through this prostitution count increases due to lifestyle deprivation, I do not see that it is because of industry’s economy. The government is just there to help what we as individuals should hold on to the bigger part why these problems become a cycle. Some people are lazy with their life that at the young age because it was unfortunate for them to have those kind of irresponsible parents. From there the root of the problem starts. However, there are other ways to make a living. Some on their own thinking, they tend to improvise by living humbly, accepting clean jobs for them to survive. Not to mention if one is born with no nutritional food to eat, sickness too..thus adds to one’s poverty. Only if one will find a good governance with no corruption, the politicians can solve hunger in a temporary basis only. It is still up to us to swim and survive. I would suggest a constant distribution of information to educate everybody of the causes of being lazy and stop or close down or put into prison who continuously practice prostitution. This will totally stop one of the causes of extreme poverty in every country.
Another step would be to provide free education and food supply for children until they reach the age where they can get a decent job on their own.

We can start helping these individuals on our own pay by not participating/entertaining these kind of job. Men can help with there. If there are no clients there will be supply.

I have seen some foundation who helped in fighting prostitution. I can recommend if one can not start own. Please check the website for some links that are worth joining.
