Nunbyeol sprinted at the chair beside Jaemin, causing him to flinch on her sudden energy.
"Do it again" she said
"W-what?"
"Your eyes! How'd you do that?"
Jaemin's eyes widened and his brown eyes slowly started to change to red again.
The sudden hues of yellow, orange, up to red made the girl's mouth parted in shock, eyes not blinking as her attention are just in his.
"Woah"
Jaemin's eyes began to shake – he's not ready for this,
Nunbyeol noticed how he became uneasy, his eyes and hands trembling making her gasp.
She grabbed both of his hands in attempt of calming him, "Hey I'm sorry, did I scare you? I'm sorry, I'm just amazed how your eyes change colors."
Her soft voice made Jaemin calm, a hint of pure sincerity of the girl's sparkly eyes.
He sighed in relief and flashed a small smile, "It's o-okay..uhh thank you."
Nunbyeol giggled and pinched both of his cheeks making his eyes green in shock. Again, she gasped.
"Woah your eyes are so wonderful, I wanna have it too!"
"What? Are you crazy? These eyes are the reason why people fear me! They think I am some sort of a witch or something, and now you want this? No, I won't let you–"
"Okay calm down.. breathe in.. breathe out."
Jaemin did shut his mouth and puffed his cheeks, "Are you not.. scared?"
Nunbyeol snorted and shook her head, "I'm not. Your eyes are really beautiful."
My eyes are beautiful? That's a first
Jaemin's heart melted at the words. His green eyes started to turn light blue, feeling all the happiness of the world.
"What's the meaning of blue?"
"Oh happiness"
The girl's lips pulled into a wide smile as she knew that the boy finally loosened up, "I'm Nunbyeol.. Park Nunbyeol."
"I'm Na Jaemin"
And that's how Jaemin started to feel the importance of his life.
