Imagine when you were six years old your mom adopted a seven year old boy at the foster home she works at. His name is Christopher Maurice Brown and he loves to sing and draw. You were mad at your mom the day she brought your adoptive brother home. You enjoy being the only child and reaping the benefits that come along with it. Your mom just thinks you're spoiled and you need a little time to get used to things. She made you share your bedroom, toys and electronics with this kid and she didn't even check to see if he has cooties. Meanwhile, your new brother Christopher is beyond ecstatic. He likes everything here and he's real happy that he has a home, toys, clothes, food and most importantly a family he can love forever. He just wishes his sister would learn to love him and stop being so mean. He doesn't know why you act like you hate him or say mean things to him when he invites you to play a game or watch his favorite tv show. And your mom sees your adoptive brother Chris is reaching out to make an effort to bond with you. But it's you who's shutting down the whole operation. You're so evil. Your mom literally has to make you sit down, talk to you about manners and force you to be polite to your brother Chris. And as the days go by you start to realize he's not so bad and it's quite fun having a brother around. It turns out your mom is right after all. You now have someone to stay awake on a school night and eat ice cream with you while your mom is asleep, chase you on the playground and fight those stupid boys at school whenever they try to bully you again.
