New Beginnings

(the story continues but now in high school)

  Now both of them are 14 years old and starting 9th grade in Fargo North High School. Its a new atmosphere for them and from here we can see the difrent types of peolpe with whom they will connect. We have the nerds, the populars and jocks (where Joey fits well), the skaters, the goths, the loners (where Carlos fits), the stoners (where Carlos also fits in) and the rebels. They kinda have separate lives but they are still very close.

  Joey is a jock, he practices baseball (specially because of his mother, she was a big fan of it) and likes to go to the gym. Sometimes he loses himself and becames very inresponsable and doesn't have a lot of patience but overall he's a good student, and makes friends very easily. Although, he likes to break rules and he can not be with a girl for so long (probably becasue of mummy issues). He has a difficult relationship with his dad but with other people he's very kind and always ready to help. Joey is also very popular and very open to new things. He has red short hair, dark brown eyes and in his neck he has a cute small pinple in his left side. His style is kinda like Archie from RIverdale. He is a tall guy (1,80 cm / 5'10 ft) and he made a tattoo when he was 13 years old in memory of his mother, behind his dad's back. He has all that fame for being a sports guy but secretly he loves to dance and his dream is to go to Julliard in New York City.

  On the other hand, we have Carlos who is more shy, probably because of the place where he lives that is a little closed for mexican and specially LGBTQ+ people so that makes him one of the loners in school. Although, he is very inteligent and cares a lot about his friends and especially his family, being very protective of his brother and sisters. He is also very polite and well educated and loves to draw and paint. Being the responsable boy that he is, gives him time to have fun and that's why he is also part of the stoners because he thinks that this world is so unfair that he needs to be happy in some way. Physically, he has curly short hair, a mix of brown and green eyes, dark skin and he is short (1,69 cm / 5'6 ft). His dream job would be politics because he believes that there's a lot of things, not just for latin people or black people but for all, that should be changed and/or improved. -"Everyone should have the capacity of being whatever they want to be."

Even tho they have those carachteristics, they both are very good students, both like arts but Carlos is better with languages and humanities and Joey with the sciences.
