"This is it! Today is the day I'll put my love letter in Kuroo's locker! I didn't write my name so he would say what he truly thinks!" Kenma thought. As he walked home that day he checked the team Group Chat, and to his surprise he found out Kuroo had gotten the love letter. Kenma ran home nervously to see what Kuroo would say about it.
(When he got home)
He ran to his room and hopped onto the bed, He was surprised that Kuroo hadn't read the letter aloud to everyone yet. Lev kept on encouraging Kuroo to read it. Kuroo finally gave up and said, "Here's what it says, 'Could you hold me through the night? Put your lips all over mine. Salty face when I start crying. Could you be my first time? Eat me up like apple pie, make me not wanna die' these are so cringy-" Kenma could feel his heart just break into a million pieces while reading that sentence. In reply he said, "Love me rough and let me fly" Kuroo confused by this asked him how he knew the rest. Lev realized it and told Kuroo "Kuroo..... Why do you think he knows it..?" Kenma turned off his phone as soon as he saw Kuroo apologizing. Kenma's mother went to his room and saw him laying on his bed asleep with tears on his face. She went up to him and said, "My poor baby... What happened to you.." while wiping the tears off.
(The next day)
Kenma ran to his mom crying the next morning and told her that he can't go to school, as soon as he said that Kuroo rang the doorbell to walk with Kenma to school. Kenma's mom was about to open the door but Kenma told her, "No! Tell him I'm sick and can't go to school today, and that I'm asleep!"
She gave a puzzled look but agreed. As she opened the door Kuroo asked where Kenma was, his mother had told Kuroo exactly what she was told to. Kuroo was suddenly worried and asked if Kenma needed anything. Kenma's mom kindly refused, Kuroo then went to school by himself wondering if it was because of yesterday. Kenma's mom went to his room and asked him what was wrong. "The letter I wrote to Kuroo... He called it cringy... He didn't know it was mine until I told him.." "Awww, my baby it's ok. You'll find others who love you more." She kissed Kenma on the forehead gently. After that day Kenma left the Volleyball team and ignored Kuroo whenever he tried to talk to him. Then one day..
