Peter Stories ??

Homecoming Prt3

Looking over all the footage they saw a street sign out the open door and rushed off.  Tony was crying while he flew and Steve gathered Bruce and the others in the quinjet before it flew off to the building.

When it got there they all stopped outside in fear, the building was.. collapsed.

Happy just stumbled into the doorway of the building coughing and Tony caught him before coming out of the iron man suit and slapping him and then hugging him.

"You- he- I-". He stuttered and the team watched in worry not knowing what was going on beside Steve.

"I'm so sorry Tony."  Happy said looking down in shame.

They looked at the building and then they heard it. 

"You're.. Spider-Man.. you're Spider-Man come on.. Spider-Man."  A voice cried and they ran inside.

All eyes widened as they saw Peter shaking and gasping as he lifted the rubble off of him, his body bloody and weak as he gasped and cried.

"You're something.. come on Spider-Man.. Happy needs you."  He wheezed crying before his knee buckled and fell to the ground the rubble tumbled down ready to crush him a second time.

Before it could however red covered it and held it in place as Wanda held her hands out.

All the Avengers ran forward moving the rubble while Wanda kept the place stable and Tony ran to Peter.

Rolling him over he dragged him away from the debris to the stable side of the building and laid him down. 

His eyes were closed and blood caked his face and torso, arms, and neck.  Tony cried as he lifted the kids face and brushed his hair back.

Peter flickered his eyes open and everyone moved closer, their hearts pounding.

"Mmm.. ow... Mr. Stark- you.. you're here?"  He was surprised as his eyes adjusted and focused with several blinks.

Tony cried softly nodding cradling his head, "Yeah kid I'm here.. I'm so.. I'm so sorry kid.  You needed a mentor and friend and I pushed you harder and harder because.. you scared me."  Tony whispered softly pressing his forehead to the others.

Peter lifted a weak hand to meet Tony's cheek and smiled at him.  "Why are you.. scared of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man?"  He asked with a smile and everyone chuckled.

"Because you're too good for this world and I didn't want to ruin you.. or watch you die."  He cried and Peter smiled coughing.

"I'm pretty tough..". He winced moving to sit up leaning back against Tony who gently held him.

"You just survived a building hitting you and picked it up.. you're tougher than all of us."  Steve said and Peter looked at him shocked.

"I'm sorry I.. got my identity exposed.. I tried to tell you but then her dad knew my voice and... he told me to go into the dance and have fun or he'd kill everyone I loved.. I knew that meant he was going to kill you guys... so I ran out of the dance and my friends and date followed and saw..". Peter sighed.

"I'm sure it's fine."  Tony said, petting his hair.

"Nah Peter getting thrown against and through a school bus is number one on youtube."  Clint said, holding up his phone to show Peter ragdolling into a school bus repeatedly.

"It's been a long.. homecoming.  I didn't even dance."  He laughed leaning against Stark and sighing as everyone chuckled softly.
