the sun is setting as the tired girl walks down the sidewalk after a long day at her friend's house, water puddles at every step. "i better hurry up if i don't wanna get caught in the rain. i should've come with the car." aerum starts picking up the pace, she's nearly home, all she wanted wanted now was to shower off all the gossip and have a nice hot cup of tea in her baggy clothes~ she ran as fast as she could with the energy she had left in her and finally made it home. she could hear loud laughing beyond the door, she opened it to find the the blue haired guy on the floor crying of laughter and a girl grabbing him by the hair. "YOU- o-oh, hey aerum" said the brunette as she slowly stood up letting go of the male's hair to greet her. "hey miamao, what was he laughing so hard about?" the male laying on the floor still slightly laughing said in response "somehow a squirrel managed to get in here and jumped on miamao's face and just hung there for a moment, it was AMAZING, the squirrel did me a favor to say the least"
"SHUT IT PEE BRAIN" said miamao kicking rae in the ribs "WHY-"
at this point aerum wasn't surprised at the things that happen when she's gone "is it still in here-"
"probably" said rae and miamao in sync
"wELL what r u two WAITING FOR- hunt it down-"
the two friends stood next to each other like soldiers "YES MA'AM" as they went to go search for miamao's little attacker, aerum made her way upstairs to her room. when she entered, the lights were out and she felt weird stepping in to the room, she quickly turned on the lights and brushed it off as just being tired. she showered and dressed up, she still felt uneasy for no reason but was too tired to care and got ready to go downstairs for her evening tea. she stepped out of the room to see the lights were off, only being illuminated by her room light as a familiar darkness roamed the bottom of the stairs.
"rae? miamao?" she called out
"was i really in the shower for that long? it's pitch black out here" she thought to herself, the slightly scared girl went down the stairs, carefully, step by step... "hello? istg if you guys are trying to scare me i will PERSONALLY delete your kneecaps" she said, ready to kick anyone. as she was about to turn her phone flash on oh the lights flicker and then turn on
she slowly steps down to the end of the stairs, there's no one in sight
"probably just need to change the light bulbs"
