You stand by next to your best friend Bokuto,Truth be told you liked this goofball but to your luck he liked another girl called Heather.She was everything you weren't,Or so you thought.
She's intelligent,Gorgeous,Kind and very caring,She's an angel you can't blame Kotaro for even liking her you would've done the same either way if you weren't so attracted to your friend.You silently sighed watching his attention turn to her,It was heartbreaking but you wouldn't let this be seen,At least not on the outside.
You quickly nudge your friend grabbing his attention,A small smirk plastered on your face as you wiggled your eyebrows "You're staring Kotaro" You giggled,He quickly looked back to you and blushed "Sorry..She's just-" "Perfect?" You cut him off knowing fully well what he was gonna say.The older male Nodded smiling at his best friend,A smile that would warm your heart,You wanted to see this smile everyday...but you wanted to be the reason for it as selfish as it sounds.
Bokuto viewed you as his little sister and you were very much aware of that,You tried convincing yourself that it was fine but deep down it hurt you."Alright owl boy lunch is almost over" you say looking up and him before walking ahead.Bokuto nods and quickly catches up to you before speaking "Hey wanna come to practice today?" He asked wrapping an arm around your shoulder making you slightly blush."Yeah sure why not" you smirked rolling your eyes,"What time is it at again" you asked before both of you quickly reached your classroom."4pm! Be there ok? I want you to meet the team" he quickly says hugging you before waving "Bye chibi chan!" He laughed walking away.Your eye twitched at the nickname 'chibi chan' before you took a deep breath and entered the classroom.

Y/N's POV:
'Three more minutes before the bell rings' I thought gripping hard on the pencil I was currently holding.Truth be told I didn't wanna go to the volleyball practice or whatever,I'm just doing it because Bokuto is my friend/crush and letting him down is my biggest fear.
Soon the calming bell rang making me sigh and quickly pack my things.
'Well here goes nothing' I thought walking through the halls filled with eagered students wanting to get out of this hell hole.I stumbled a few times but thankfully I made it out alive "Wow miracles do exist" I mumbled to myself before continuing to make my way to the gym.
Currently it was 3:40pm I made it there at 3:10pm so I decided to seat on the bleachers and wait.I put my backpack next to me as I scroll through my phone."Hmm Ateez is having a comeback this week" I mumbled a small smile creeping on my face.
Before I knew it 4pm rolled around quickly,The doors of the gym flew open revealing non other than Bokuto and his extra ass."Y/N WOW YOURE HERE EARLY" he shouted running up at me embracing me in a warm tight hug,Oh how I loved them.I quickly returned his hug and looked up at him with a small blush,"Yeah I got here at 3:10pm"He looked at me wide eye and hugged me even tighter "My poor little chibi chan I'm sorry"I giggled at this and patted his back."It's ok Owl boy,Now aren't you gonna introduce me to the team?"I smirked.
The hyper boy quickly nodded before breaking the hug and pushing me towards the team that were already looking at us."EVERYONE MEET Y/N" he yelled making me cover my ears and sigh "Any more louder Bokuto it's not like their already paying attention to us" I rolled my eyes in a playful way.Bokuto chuckled at my remark and the team smiled,Well except one which youve already met a few times 'what was his name again?' I thought before shaking my head and turning my attention to the team.
"Hi it's very nice to meet you all,I'm Y/N a second year,I hope we can all get along" I gave my best smile waving at them.The boys quickly introduced themselves with excitement making me giggle,As I chatted a bit with Konoha I noticed two managers,I smiled and waved at them before quickly bowing at the boy infront of me and sitting down on the bleachers.
As I watched them Practice I couldn't keep my eyes off of Bokuto,He looked so cheerful and cute it made me smile and blush.I couldn't help but giggle Abit before a figure at the door caught my attention...It was HER.
My eyes widen before noticing whom she was looking at...Bokuto.My heart sinked Abit but I took a small breath and kept my 'smile' on.
Once the boys finished their Practice Bokuto came up to me all sweaty and panting,I blushed at the sight but laughed it off,"Y/NNN come here I want a hug" He teased making me shiver "No thanks you're sweaty, Also look who's at the door" I point out knowing he would be more than happy.As much as it pained me,Our friendship and his happiness is more important than these stupid feelings called love.
Bokuto quickly looked behind him and his smile widened "HEATHER HEY HEY HEYYY" he yelled walking over to her,Once his back was fully facing me I sighed crossing my arms and looking down Abit."You ok?" A voice came from behind me.I instantly knew who it was "Ah yeah just Abit tired Akaashi San" I looked at him with a small smile fully turning to him.He nodded wipping off his sweat with the towel around his neck."Looks like Bokuto San is busy" he looked behind me before turning back his attention to me.I quickly chuckled and nodded "Yeah,His in love" Akaashi only hummed before speaking "anyways I'm gonna get going,Have a nice day Y/N San" he bowed walking away to the gyms changing room.

3rd person POV:
You quickly sighed once he was out of view and hugged your figure Abit,Deciding it was best to leave you picked up your backpack and waved goodbye to everyone except Bokuto.You quickly walked up to him and noticed he was still talking to Heather.
"Kotaro San I'm gonna get going" You said flashing him a smile.He quickly ruffles your hair and smiles "See you tomorrow chibi chan?" You nodded,He embraced you in a small hug and Al though it lasted a few seconds for you it felt like eternity.Once the hug broke you turned to Heather who was smiling softly and bowed Abit before leaving.
"Heh that's funny,It started raining" you mumbled chuckling before taking out your umbrella.The weather matched your feelings perfectly which you found to be funny.
Once you reached home you plopped down on your bed and sighed missing Bokutos warmth."I hate these feelings" you mumbled looking up at your hand."Why did it have to be him."
