Curiosity Killed The Cat

I forgot to include this on the previous chapter so I'll write it here.
I don't own Cross Fight B-daman or any other included in it. I just own this story and the idea.

At Washimura family restaurant

Everyone in the room was busy with their food. Kaito is trying to eat pasta Puttanesca by adding a lot of pepper,claiming he is old enough to eat something like that, which made his tongue felt very weird but he still made the 'very delicious-right' face. Shumon is still eating Bengal chili that made his head steamed by the spiciness of it. Gouichiro is eating his 'diet' food which is a slice of sponge cake while Yukihide, well… spaghetti, fruit salad, fried chicken wing, caramel pudding, you name it.

But one guy in particularly wasn't eating. In fact, he didn't have a mood to eat. Kaito realized this after eating a part of the pasta so he asked, "What's wrong, Kakeru? You looked depressed." Kakeru started and quickly said, "Eh, no I'm not! I'm feeling alright." He said, giving a smile that looked so fake. "If you're feeling like that, you should be eating your garlic bread right now." Yukihide interrupt with his mouth full. "Oh, right. Itadakimasu*!" He was going to eat when, "Wait, Kakeru!" Dracyan ordered. Kakeru stopped. "Are you going to eat it with its wrapper on?" He asked sarcastically. That's when he realized he forgot to take the wrappers off! So he take it off and continue to eat. But after a while, he's back looking depressed. So, Kaito asked Dracyan, "Hey Dracyan, what's with him today?" He said, "It's about Subaru." "Eh, Subaru? What about him?" Gouichiro asked, looking interested in it. "Why don't you ask him." Dracyan said, looking at Kakeru.

Silence. Not a single word was heard. He looked unsure about telling them about Subaru. "Hey, Kakeru. If you don't want to tell us, it's fine. But when you're ready, we're here for you." Said Yukihide, trying to make the best of the situation. And by that, he finally said it, "It's just…. Yesterday, when I was heading home…" By that, he told them the whole story from that until they got home. Everyone was interested. Even Shumon who's eating wants to know. "Shasha… That's it?!" Shumon complained. "Ye-Yes." He said. Gouichiro then said, "So, let me get this straight. You just curious about the letter Subaru was reading?" "I-I can't help being curious." He said, trying to reason with them. "You know, sometimes curiosity killed the cat." Yukihide then interrupt. Kakeru blinked. "Eh?" "It means, you are worrying about something unnecessary like that." Dracyan said. "Is wondering about the letter is and unnecessary thing?" Kakeru asked, annoyed by it. "I don't mean it like that. I mean, maybe it's just from his dad or someone he knows. You kept thinking everything you see and hear is a mystery. But it's a good thing too." "So, you're saying that I should stop being curious?" He asked, still unsure about what to do. "No, what I'm saying is that you need to control your curiosity. Maybe sooner or later, he will tell everyone about it." Yukihide explained, trying to get the best of the tense situation right now.

With that, everyone continue eating until they're full. Late in the evening, they gone home. Kakeru was walking home when… "Um, excuse me." He heard someone greet him from behind. He turned and saw a figure of a girl. Judging by her body, she looks 17 years old. She wears black jacket with the zip off so he can saw underneath the jacket is a light green collar T-shirt. She wears long red trousers and blue shoes with red line at its tongue. Her face was hidden due that she wears the hood up so he can only see her nose and lips. "Yes?" He said. "Are you a b-shot? I can see your B-daman on your hand." She asked with her head down. "Ah, yes. This is Dracyan." He said, pulling Dracyan to his chest. "Hi, I'm Dracyan." "Oh, then you know about Shirogane Subaru then, right?" She asked. He was surprised. 'She must've known him.' He thought. "Yes." He simply said. "Then, would you mind if I deliver my words to him through you?" She asked. He was stunned. "Why can't you tell him yourself?" He asked. "Because I don't want to see him. So, tell him this is from S. A." She said then she continued, "' In order to win this game, one must falter, but in order to lose, you must abandon them.'" Before he could say a word, she suddenly disappeared. He was surprised to see it. 'Where did she go?' He thought. He searched for her nearby but can't seem to find her. Giving up, he went home thinking one question about what had happened.

'Who's she?'

It was nighttime. Everyone was asleep, well… except for Subaru. Dravise was asleep (can he?) for hours. But not his player. Subaru is on his chair at the desk. He is currently still looking at the letter he received yesterday, thinking whether to tell his father and his friends about it. He startled. 'Friends? Am I considered them as friends?' He thought. Then he yawned. He decided to think about it tomorrow. He went towards his bed and sleep.

At the same time, at the East City, a figure was seen sitting on an armchair watching a television inside a dark room. On the screen, it's Subaru sleeping in his bed. Judging by the screen, the camera must be at the upper corner of the room.

After Subaru went to bed, the figure smirked. "So, it has begun, eh?" He, or actually she said. She turned off the TV and walked towards the window. The moon and the stars are the only thing she could see. "After 5 years, I finally returned. I can't wait to meet him." She said, smiling. But then, she frowned. "But he need to solve my puzzles to do it. But, it's the only thing to make him understand the reason. No turning back now." She said. Then she slide the curtains, leaving the room in a total darkness.

So, that's the third chapter. But, it still didn't tell who's the mystery girl, but we do know about the camera [but I'm telling you that she's NOT a stalker (well, maybe a little)]. And don't worry, next time I'll tell you a lot about her. So I hope you guys enjoy. Oh, and I'm sorry if there's any grammatical error in it. Bye. :) [I almost forgot. The quotes that I write is actually came from a TV shows called 'Dracula' from NBC. I don't own it. I just borrowing it.]
