July is what people would call a miracle. As soon as she was actually a baby and not just whatever goes on in womens stomachs, she got out. She had to stay in the hospital a long time, and she's still not perfect. She still has a feeding tube, still has trouble breathing and talking. And most importantly, she's still watched like a hawk. Which means she's never had a carefree day in her entire life.
Sure, her parents took her out and tried to hang out with her, but July was never able to actually have fun, always bombarded and smothered by her parents. Speaking of parents, you would think after such an experience, they would name their daughter something like Hope or Miracle, but nope! They named her July, after the month she was born. How unoriginal is that? Anyway, July's parents were...weird to say the least.
Whatever they did with her, was because of some article they had read, or a novel, or because of something the neighbors had said. The Jobs they had were the same ones their parents had had. Nothing was original with them! Not even their looks! July's mother, has black hair, bright green eyes, a mole on one of her cheeks, and she always dressed like one would assume a witch dressed up; bet you can figure out why.
July's father on the other hand, was a plain Joe(although his name's different). Gelled brown hair, brown eyes with glasses, always wore a plaid shirt, and sweater vests were his life. That made for a pretty weird couple, and an even weirder family. To this day, July still has no idea how they ended up together. Love works in mysterious ways.
It was a monday morning when her parents had said she was going to a new school. They had ecstatic and slightly worried looks on their faces. July didn't even need to ask why, they had obviously read it somewhere. So instead of being mad and screaming at her parents, or being sad and running towards her room to cry, July inwardly rolled her eyes and said, "Alright". The looks on their faces were worth the inward eye roll.
They looked immensly happy. July could practically read their thoughts, what did we do to deserve a daughter like this? July gave a smirk at that statment, what did they do to deserve her? And what did July do to deserve them? Only god knows.
"So, are we going to get the new un...uniform or what?".
