A week later, I was laying in bed, eating popcorn and watching a soap opera on the TV in my room.
Rory was laying in my lap, and I would feed him a piece of popcorn after every bite I took.
Don't judge me.
I picked up my phone as a text came through. It better be important. Amelia had just kissed Gordon, even though she was dating Hiram. I wanted to see what was going to happen.

The next afternoon, Ava and I peeled out of the school parking lot, her radio blaring.
We both sang along loudly, our hands hanging out the windows and flying on the air. Ava grinned over at me.
"I'm so damn glad you moved here!" She shouted.
"Me too!" I shouted back.
It wasn't a lie. I had made some really great friends and I actually kind of loved it here. The culture was amazing.
Later that night, when we got out of our cab and walked up to Jude's parent's house, we were both giddy. His house was huge, and people were everywhere. I could see LED lights flashing inside and people jumping around and grinding on each other.
Ava grabbed my hand, squealing. "Let's go!"
I grinned, and let her lead me inside the house. The makeshift bar was located just left of the door, and Ava made a beeline for it.
She handed me a shot glass full of some blue liquid and grabbed one for herself. "Bottoms up!" She cheered. We clinked our glasses together before touching them to the bar and downing them. I tipped my head back and let the liquid slide down my throat. It tasted like gummy bears, but left a sting in my throat.
Afterwards, Ava handed me a bottle of something and turned, leading me to the dance floor.
"Where's the guys?" I shouted over the music. Ava shrugged, her hips already moving to the beat.
"They'll find us." She shouted back.
I nodded, grabbing her hand with my free one and holding it up, twirling her. Her blonde hair flew out, as did the frills on her dress. She stopped twirling, stumbling against me and laughing.
I laughed too, continuing to dance with her.
I'm not sure how long we danced; I could have done it all night. Eventually, someone came up behind me, their hands on my hips.
"You ladies enjoying the party?" A familiar voice shouted.
"Jude!!" Ava cried, already five bottles in. I smiled, turning around. Our faces were really close and I could smell the alcohol on his breath, along with a small hint of weed.
"It's pretty great, Jude. Nice house." I said, throwing my hands around his neck.
"Where's Isaac?" She whined, leaning against my side.
"Kitchen." Jude answered.
Ava grinned, standing up. "Miss him little tushy," she mumbled, making Jude and me laugh.
"I missed your little tushy," Jude said. I laughed, but felt my face turning red. I didn't stop him as one of his hands floated softly down my back and landed on the faux pocket of my mini skirt.
He pulled me closer to him, and once again, I didn't stop him. I tightened my arms around his neck instead, dancing with him.
"Jude, someone needs you in the dining room!" Someone shouted. Jude sighed.
"I'll be right back," he said. I nodded, watching as his dark head disappeared into the crowd.
I closed my eyes, raising my hands above my head and swaying my hips. The bass in whatever song was playing shook the floor, and I could practically feel it in my heart.
My eyes opened as a pair of familiar tattooed arms wrapped around my waist. I met bright blue ones that sent a familiar jolt through my body.
"Hey, sweetheart," he grinned.
"Hi,"
My fingers entwined in his blonde hair; I couldn't help myself.
Luke smirked, stepping even closer than he was as his arms tightened around me. I stood on my tiptoes, my lips brushing against Luke's neck. I kissed the small tattoo of a rose, my tongue lightly tracing it.
I felt his sharp intake of breath. Nibbling lightly on his earlobe, memories of that night flashed through my mind; his lips on mine, him above me, moving inside of me.
Luke took my hand in mine, pulling me through the crowd of people. It almost seemed as if the crowd parted for him, like the Red Sea for Moses.
Without questioning, I let him lead me up the stairs and into a small bathroom. He closed the door behind me, and I grinned as I heard the lock click.
Luke's blue eyes met mine, and he smirked. "I missed you, sweetheart," he said, his hands at the bottom of my shirt. I shivered as his fingertips grazed my bare skin.
Before I could even blink, his soft lips were on mine. I pulled lightly at the tips of his hair, moving my lips with his.
I let him lift me up and set me onto the sink counter. My legs were around his hips as he invited his tongue into my mouth.
Continuing to kiss him, I reached down and unbuttoned his jeans, hooking my toes in the belt loops and pulling them down.
He chuckled against my lips. "Impressive," he muttered. He hiked my skirt up and shoved my panties to the side.
After putting a rubber on, he pulled my hips against his, and he was inside me.
I gasped, leaning back, my head hitting the mirror. He pulled me to the edge of the counter, and continued moving in me, fast and hard.
Luke was grunting as he moved, his hair falling over his eyes.
A knock on the door made both of us freeze. "Occupied," Luke grunted.
"Luke, is that you?" Jude asked through the door. The knob jiggled, and my eyes widened.
Luke resumed his movements, but clamped his hand over my mouth. "It's me, Jude. What do you want?"
"Have you seen Ella? I was dancing with her but I can't find her now."
Luke's eyes met mine, his eyebrows raised. "Haven't seen her, man, sorry." I chuckled, but that stopped as he slammed into me, giving me a harsh look.
I heard Jude mumble, then his retreating footsteps.
Luke took his hand off my mouth, looking at me. I smirked, sitting up to lean against him with my arms around his neck. Luke moved us so I was against the door, and once again I was reminded of that first night.
The door rattled softly with every thrust.
Luke's movements became more frantic, his breathing jagged. I dug my nails into his shoulders, in the process of making a love bite in his neck.
He stilled suddenly, his muscles clenching. He moaned loudly, the sound muffled by my shoulder.
After a moment, he slowly pulled out and let me down. My legs were a little wobbly.
After we had both fixed our appearances, he smiled, kissing me again. "Have a good night, sweetheart," he said softly. I nodded, cheekily grabbing a bit of his ass as he left.
Pun intended.
I waited a few minutes before sneaking out of the bathroom and going back downstairs.
