Max's POV
I swear to god I look so freaking troubled today. All I could think was what gonna happened this evening. The fact that Amanda just texted me wanting to talk just made it worse.
At this point I knew she wanted a breakup. I mean, what else could she wanting to talk about?
Think positive. Think positive.
She probably just want to tell me that she will be away for a while or she might want to ask me on a date. Yeah, that could be it.
"Max? Max? Maxwell?" Damien snapped me out from my thoughts. "Are you ok dude? You look like you've just saw a your mom kissing another guy."
Haha. I flipped him off.
"Take a chill pill bro. I'm just kidding. But I swear you look like there's a million thoughts running in your mind."
He was right. "I don't know man. I'm just having this what-ifs about what Amanda wanted to talk about. What if she wants to break up?! What if she cheated on me?! What if-"
"You need to calm down, you're being too loud."
I starred at him with a disbelieving look. "Did you just quote Taylor Swift's lyrics?"
"First of all, yes I did. Second, you need to stop thinking about all of this possibilities and start to relax. Break up is a normal thing in an unstable relationship. You guys are from different schools, of course it'll be more difficult. If she really wants to break up, I think you should let her go."
Since when is he a philosopher.
"Alrighty, Einstein. I'll do as you say but I won't let her go until I try to salvage our relationship but I'm gonna need some help from someone who understands both guys and girls and I think I know who that person is."
"Who?"
I guess Einstein's soul just left his body. Thank god. I missed the dumb Damien.
The whole entire day went by pretty normal, except I got a detention with Damien for talking inside Mr. Harrod's class. Oh and that gay kid(no offence) also got a detention for sleeping in class. I can't blame him because the class was fucking boring. I can't keep calling him "that gay kid". I need to get his name. Maybe I could ask him if he could help me about Amanda.
