Closer and Closer

Time skip to 3rd year still the first day back. You didn't talk or really know Draco at all for the next couple of years,the only time you talked to him was at breakfast. So you guys are still new to each other. You grew close with Hermione and the rest of the golden trio during your years so far.

The next morning you wake up to the annoying alarm. You stand up on the cold wood floors and walked over to the mirror. You looked terrible with your hair all frizzy. You used a spell to get ready and finally looked normal again. Walking to the dinning hall for breakfast you see Draco again. Ah that boy was the only thing on your mind. You sat down at the Slytherin table and started eating for you could get to Potions class early. Draco sat next to you. "Good morning stranger." he said to you. You smiled and tried to hide the fact you were blushing. "Good morning Malfoy!"you said back sarcastically. "Oh so that's what your gonna call me now?" he asked smiling. "I don't have to if you want me to call you something different" you responded. "I don't really care, so what do you have for your first class today?" he questioned while blushing. "Potions."you said. "Really?! I do to, maybe we can be partners and get closer. For some reason I feel like I know you and well I would like to get to know you better." he said with that cute half smile on his face. "Yeah, that would be nice. I hate to say it, but I feel like I know you're handsome face from somewhere." You looked in shock that you just called him handsome. "Sorry umm I- I am going to head to class." You said just trying to remove yourself from that situation. You got up and tried to walk away, but he grabbed your wrist. You looked back at him, he really was handsome, he looked perfect. "You don't need to be embarrassed about it,"he said laughing, "cause I find you very beautiful." he said smiling. You blushed and said "I bet you tell that to a bunch of girls!" you tried to walk away again,but he held on. "No really to be honest, ah this is kind of embarrassing, ever since I have seen you I can't get you out of my head" he said. "Okay fine let's be partners in potions!" you said. You just looked into each other's eyes in silence. It wasn't awkward, it felt like you were supposed to find him. He finally let go and said in a calming voice "Okay,well I will let you go to class." You smiled and walked away. Hermione spotted you in the hallway and said "y/n oh my gosh are you dating that hottie Draco or something? Cause you guys would be so together! Please say you at least are talking to him! Sure he hates me and my friends, but you guys would be perfect. And I do find him very cute. Don't worry though he is all yours girl." You smiled and responded talking really fast as if you were ranting "We aren't dating...yet...I hope. He is so cute and so sweet. He is like jaw dropping gorgeous and I really want to kiss him. I know people say his family is evil,but he is different. I don't know him well at all, but I feel like I do. Like have you seen his perfect face and he is so so nice. I feel like I have known him forever. When he sits next to me at breakfast he always makes the cutest small talk. He acts so awkward and asks the stupidest questions like what my favorite color is. It is adorable though. He always asks about me, I have never asked about him. I fancy him. He is...there is no words to describe him. I know he is like mean to you, but around me he is different. I think he feels like he needs to be mean to Griffindoors or something. He is so cute. Ah okay I am going to tell him." Hermione was giving you a look as if you should stop taking. You stopped and felt a poke on your shoulder. Hermione couldn't help but laugh. A look of shame came across your face and slowly turned around to see Draco blushing . "How long were you standing there?" You asked. "From the we aren't dating yet part."he said laughing. "Im sorry I didn't know you were there and I never ment that literally because obviously why would someone like you want to date a girl like me. I am so sor.." he cut you off by putting his cold hands on your face and kissing you. It was a deep passionate one. Like he really ment it. "Just stop talking,"he said sarcastically, "everything you said there was how I feel about you. Yes I know it is strange since we barely know each other,but it was like at first sight. I don't know a lot about you, but I feel like I have known you for a lifetime. My dad may act stubborn, but my mom is actually really nice. Look I really really like you y/n and I am not just trying to mess around with your feelings." You smiled as you saw Hermione slowly backing away to give you some privacy. "Okay,well we better get to class. By the way, what I said was true, we aren't dating yet." you said while walking down the hall. "Okay, I will wait till your ready." He said back while intertwining your fingers. You were sorta in shock. In the last 5 minutes you have kissed,confessed feelings,and basically asked out Draco Malfoy. He waited for your reaction from him taking your hand you looked at him and said "Okay Dray as long as we can get to know a little more about each other." He smiled and said under his breath "I like Drey,I like when you call me that. It makes me feel like I am yours." he said it so quietly he thought you couldn't hear him. "Then I will call you Dray from now on, and your not mine...yet." You said sarcastically. "Oh I am sorry" he said out of embarrassment. "It's okay, it's cute" you said back, it made him smile. You decided to mock him by saying "Aw I love your smile. Your perfect. Just ask me for I can be yours forever. I want to hold hands, go on cute dates, kiss more cause that was amazing, cuddle, watch movies, maybe get a little dirty with you." You said quietly,but you made sure he could hear you. "Okay honey, I am up to do all of that. Even the last one. And I promise I won't make you wait long before I ask. I just want you to be ready." he said back smiling. You laughed and entered the Potions classroom. It was only introductions since it was the first day of going to classes. There wasn't much important things you needed to learn so the whole time you focused on Draco. He sat down next to you for you could be partners. You were wearing a short sleeve shirt, your scar was still covered, and that potion room was freezing. Luckily Draco had his jacket with him that he wasn't wearing. You grabbed it and put it on. He looked at you in confusion,but he was also impressed. "So we are just taking each other's things now?" he asked laughing "No,I am just really cold. Sorry I should have asked," you took off the jacket, "here is your jacket back Dray" you said scared that you did something wrong. "How could I let my future girlfriend get cold?" he said in a baby voice that made you want to scream it was so cute. You smiled as he put the jacket around you. You looked up at him, he was so tall, and said laughing "Thank you future boyfriend ." He smiled. That class was over and now you only had 2 more for that day. They were boring without Draco. You still had his jacket so you wore it the entire time. Finally you were done for the day you were walking back to the Slytherin common rooms when Hermione stopped you and said "So what exactly is going on? Is this his jacket?" she said while grabbing the jacket. You snatched it back and said "We aren't dating. We both agreed that he will ask me sometime to be his girlfriend when we are ready. And yes this is his jacket,I got really cold" She smiled and said "Good luck!" You entered the common room no one else was there. You turned the corner and saw a pale guy sitting in front of the fire. You quickly realized it was Draco. You walked over to him and realized he was asleep. You looked at him for a couple of minutes admiring how handsome he was. You were still getting used to his company. But decided to do something insane,or so you thought,you sat down next to him and wrap your arms around him with your head on his chest. You kissed his cheek and said "Well someone is tired." He smiled half awake and put his arm around you to pull you in closer. "I already missed you." You mumbled into his chest. "Honey I have missed you too." he said back. "Do you have the rest of the day off?" he asked. You nodded and sat up. He smiled and said "Well let's go up to my room and take a nap." "Don't you have a roommate?" you asked hoping he would say no. "I don't. So we can cuddle and take a nap, if you want to. I don't really know much about flirting or hanging out with a special girl so I am just going to go off what I have seen in Muggle movies."he said smiling. You nodded and stood up. "That's okay, it's my first time being with a boy as well." you said to relive him. You were scared that you would get caught on the boys side, but at this point you just wanted to be with Draco. He grabbed your hand and walked you up to his room. You entered and sat on his bed. "Do you need to change or are you comfortable like that?" he asked. "I don't have anything to change into,but I would like to since you don't get the best sleep in school robes." you said "Well you can barrow one of my shirts and a pair of shorts, if you would like." he said back smirking. You looked at him by his closet waiting for your answer. "Okay just please don't make the shirts super long I don't even sleep with pants on."you said. You were kinda shocked you are so open with him. It was as if you didn't care what he thought or knew about you. "Okay well I am going to grab you a shirt. I don't care if you sleep in your underwear, as long as I can sleep with my shirt off." He responded. You nodded as he threw a t-shirt at you. You stood up and said "Turn around so I can change please." "As you wish" he said while turning to face the wall. You pulled off your skirt and shoes. You then took off your shirt and bra. By that point you were practically naked and caught Draco looking at you while smiling. "Please turn around!" you said he laughed and said "Sorry that my future girlfriend is really hot." You pulled on his shirt and laughed while throwing your skirt at him. "Jeez okay then sassy!" he said joking. You sat on the bed and watched as he got undressed. You couldn't help but blush and smile. As soon as he caught you, you looked away and stared at the wall. "Hey don't be embarrassed,"he said walking over to you only in his boxers, "all of this is going to be yours and I am completely fine with you doing whatever you want to it" You laughed and said "Okay if you say so Malfoy." He blushed and put on sweatpants. You laid down and looked at him as he came to the bed. He laid down next to you. You quickly moved on the far side of the bed because you didn't want to be awkward. You laid on your side not facing him on the edge. He grabbed you and pulled you onto his lap. You just froze not knowing what to do. "We came here to cuddle and take a nap," he said in a baby voice, "not just take a nap." You laid your head on his chest. You could hear his heartbeat. You smiled and dug your head in more. You moved your leg onto his (like how every girl sleeps). "See that's more like it" he said while putting his hand on your lower back to bring you in more. Before you fell asleep he whispered "Goodnight y/n I hope you sleep well on me" You giggled and said "Goodnight Dray, and I promise you I will." You whispered back.
