Daichi

You were standing outside the boys g him waiting for your boyfriend for you could walk home. It's was a dark windy night, the same as he asked you out.

You've been with Daichi for a year, and that day was your anniversary. Since both of you were in school and he had volleyball practice you didn't think much when he d didn't bring it up.

Till this day, you s still don't know how you got the captain of the volleyball team to be with you.

You were waiting for your childhood best friend so you could walk home together. It's was dark and a chilly night, good thing you brought your jacket. You've had a tiny crush for s done tests now but going into high school it changed from tiny crush to something more.

Of course you didn't act on those feelings seeing that volleyball was his top priority. You didn't want to get in the way so you simply just regarded your feelings but it was getting harder as days passed. Those feeling kept growing.

"Hey y/n, sorry meeting took longer than expected" a voice rang from behind you, revealing a sweaty volleyball player running up to you.

"No problem, I was just admiring the sky" you said directing your attention from the boy to the sky above. "Should we get going? It's kinda getting late" you added not looking towards the boy. Your heart beating faster and one glance would send you over the edge.

"Yea, what to get something to eat? It's late and I don't want to be the reason you didn't eat" Daichi said grabbing your hand. This shocked you and you instantly turned your head to see the boy trying to warm you up. "Your freezing, how long have you been out here?" He said worry filling his voice.

"Since practice ended. I don't mind, it was relaxing" you pulled a smile, heart beating increasing from the contact. "It's really okay Daichi" you said smiling wider from the worry look in his eyes.

Daichi on the other hand couldn't be anything but worried. You waited for him in the freezing weather. While he was inside taking to Sugawara about advice on how to ask you out, but here you both were. You calm and freezing, while he was worried that you could catch a cold.

Daichi had always been worried about you, he also liked for a couple of years. Maybe since the beginning of middle school, no it was before that. He didn't just like you, he knew deep down here has fallen in love but never wanted to act on it. Today was different though, he wanted to. He wanted to be with you, to hold you, kiss you, have you in his arms.

"Daichi you okay?" You said bringing him back to reality. You smiled moving closer to him. "We should really get going. You can pick up something on our way home" you said pulling away not wanting to violate his personal space.

Daichi notice that and pulled you closer to him. He didn't know what gotten into him but all he knew was he didn't want to let go.  He wanted you with him. Looking down, he could see your surprised expression and he could think anything other than how cute you looked.

"Y/n" He said getting a hum in response. "I like- no not like I love you. I have loved you for years but was to afraid to act on it. I was afraid you didn't feel the same. The meeting didn't take long, the real reason I was late was because I was asking Sugawara for tips on how to finally ask you out. I'm sorry for making you wait out here" he said holding you tighter shielding you from the cold. "You don't have to say anything, it was just harder to hold in my feelings. I'm sorry I laid all of this on you."

You were supposed, but you were more than happy to know the man you love, loved you back. You got loose from his grip, but still in his arms. Looking into his eyes, he seemed happy but also in fear of what might happen next. Instead of answering his you pulled him down and kisses him.

This caught the boy off guard making his tumble a little but catching himself before making either of you fall. Finally understanding the situation, he kissed back. Pulling away, you both had smiles  and were more than happy to have each other.

"Y/n will you be my girl/boyfriend?" He asked already knowing the answer.

"I would love too" you replied wrapping you arms around Daichi's neck and kissing him once again.

Present

"Y/n! Did you wait long?" A voice rang from the volleyball clubhouse. It was your boyfriend Daichi.

Shaking your head you replied with a small no. You smiled once the boy wrapped his arms around your waist. "Hey, do you what day it is?" He asked his smile growing wider.

"Um Tuesday?" You said smiling wrapping your hands around the boy in front of you.

"Okay, one it's Wednesday and two no" he said chuckling from you getting your days confused. Well to be honest it felt like a Tuesday to you. "That's probably who you forgot"

"You mean our anniversary?" You asked catching the boys attention.

"You do remember!" He said pulling you closer making you snuggle into him.

"Of course, I just thought you were busy with volleyball and school I didn't want to distract you" you said pulling your head away from him looking up.

"You are my only distraction, and will every be my only distraction. I love you, and happy anniversary baby" he said pulling out a box from his jacket. "It's a promise ring, a promise that you will always be my side and I by yours" he took the ring and placed it on your left ring finger.

"It's beautiful! I have something for you too." You pulled out a small box from your school bag. Opening it, you pulled out the necklace from inside. "It's a heart, with a heart but out from the middle." taking the necklace that was tucked into your shirt, i it revealed a small heart that connected to the one in the box. "Happy anniversary"

"I love it" Daichi said taking the necklace and putting it around his neck. "And I love you" he pulled you closer and kissed you passionately. "Let's go home"

I kinda like this one, but writing it made me feel lonelier then I already am. I hope you like it!
