Hagalaz' Point of View

"Seriously?! holy fu--. I said 8pm, not 7 fucking pm!!"

I crossed my eyebrows as I heard his voice over the line.

"Youre too punctual dude." he added

"You should be thankful enough that I still allowed us to see again. I have hectic schedules and here you are being an ungrateful fuck." I said as he laughed on the phone.

"Dude chill!! Are you still even mad at me for not calling you for the past 7 days? Man. You're like a woman." he chuckled.

"You fuck. just get your ass over here, NOW."

"Okay!! Okayy!! will be there in 30 minutes! and dont you dare forget the popcorn!" he demanded as I ended the call.

Ramdam ko ang aking sariling buntong hininga nang ibaba ko  ang call mula saaking phone. Its been like an hour nang makarating ako sa isang sikat na mall dito s Dubai.

My day off was supposed to be just spending the 24 hours inside the base reading a good book, but here the fuck I am, giving off the day for an asshole's request.

I turned my my head towards the hallways that will lead to the entrance of the mall's movie theater.

Seriously. Ano bang nangyayari sayo, Hagalaz. Dang it you fuck.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako ulit as I started to walk papunta sa isang popcorn stall. May tatlo pang tao sa may counter, so inilibot ko ang aking mga mata sa buong paligid while waiting for my turn.

Its night time but still, mukhang hindi natutulog ang mall na ito. Groups of people, families,  lovers, friends.. All sorts of people are happily spending their time.

I took  out my phone as I started to feel something weird in my chest upon seeing tons of happy faces all over me. All my life, I had been surrounded by conflicts,  violence, war and even bloodshed.

Kailan ba nang huli akong pumasok sa isang mall at nagsaya? I cant really recall, nor  I cant even remember. I guess this will be my first time again, in 15 years.

Hindi ko akalain, of all the people passing through my life, this particular stranger had the balls to even ask me for some movies. Ni hindi niya ako gaanong kilala, but he treats me like is "life long" pal.

Feeling close.

People are fucking weird.

"Sir? what's your order?"

Napatigil ako saaking pag iisip nang tawagin ng attendant ang aking attention. I started to stand up staright, but in reality, wala talaga akong kaalam alam  sa mga ginagawa ko at this point.

"Uhm. Pop corns.  for two--"

"Are you going on a date with your girl, sir?"

"Uhm I just need tw--"

"Then its all perfect!! we have a combro promo for lovers only limited until today sir!! buy one bowl and get one free plus drinks of your choice. For you and your girlfriend!!!" the kind and enthusiastic lady attendant said.

I really don't like where is this going.
