"Avarda Kedavra!" The words came out of Peter Pettigrew so fast, Cedric Diggory couldn't even react. The astonished look on Harry's face was of some satisfaction to Pettigrew...
Later that night, Amos took Cedric's body to bury while Hogwarts was having a funeral. Amos arrived at the Forbidden Forest, carrying Cedrics body and still sobbing lightly. He fell to his knees, crying soberly. But what he didn't know was that while he was crying his eyes out, Cedric lay there still as the sea, blinking half conscious.
Amos soon calmed down and straightened Cedric up before laying him under a tree. He didn't want to bury him, as he would be tempted to use a spell to help Cedric (even though, from Amos' knowledge, Cedric is dead). So he laid him there and left, tears filling his eyes, but he couldn't cry anymore - he ran out of emotion.
A while after Cedric laid there alone, a mysterious figure came into the Forbidden Forest. With red eyes, blood around his mouth and perfectly pale skin, a tall, handsome man knelt down in front of Cedric. He could tell there was still life in him, as he could smell the blood - oh, how he thirsted for this particular blood. Luckily enough for Cedric, this man had already had a snack before arriving upon him.
The man picked his body up with what seemed like little to no effort, and zoomed off into the night. This man was no other - than Carlisle Cullen.
