Chapter 20

Hi Guys,
My sincere apologies for delay in update. I got stuck with several issue along with this COVID. I will complete this story no matter what :D :D :D

Third Person P.O.V

Mew look at them, all them know what Mew going to say but they are more worried about his condition.

Mew release heavy breath.

Mew: Lhong is White's younger brother.

Gulf: But, P' he only have his father.

Mew: Yes, that was partially true. Lhong's parents divorce when they are young. Both of them want to keep their kids with them so the fight for it. The court give judgement as White will stay with her mother and Lhong will be with his father to be fair for both parents. Only on certain occasions White and her mother can meet Lhong but White love his younger so much. During our junior high school, myself and White will go to meet Lhong secretly. He is very innocent kid at that time. Even without White, I will go to meet him. I'm afraid him getting bullied.

Gulf: Why don't see you P'?

Mew: I'm not sure either. If I meet you those time things won't be this hard I guess. He soon become attach with me. I bring him to my house and even go to visit his house with or without White. One time, when I go to meet him. He had a very high fever. He been crying the whole day. His father was busy at work. I'm totally lost looking at him like. I called my mother and she bring the doctor. He refused to eat or take medicine. He keep saying no one loves him. I hug him and soothe him. I told him I'm there for him. I will love him. He even ask for a picky promise that I will always love him. He replied he love me no matter what happen.

Tee: That quite deep.

Tae: What you mean Tee.

Tee: You see P' kids are very fragile. In this case, Lhong have his father, mother and sister but all of them not with him. Parents love is something important for a kid but sadly Lhong did have chance to experience it. If I'm not mistaken that fever was due to him thinking no one loved him and mentally he is at a very weak state at that point. When, Mew go and say I'm there for you. It become a ray of hope for him. Since, Mew also been nice always taking care of him. He believed it. Another way can say that what make him survive.

Gulf: ohhhh... hmm. I know he used earn for love but not this deep.

Tae: Then, how you forget about him Mew.

Mew: My mum told about Lhong's fever to white's mother and it become an issue. White's mother use that as a bait to get back her son. She lost the case but knowing this White's father don't allow me to meet him anymore. I tried few times but then I just gave up. As time goes I eventually forget about him.

Tae: opps... adult sometime fail to think about kids.

Tears feel up Mew's eyes.

Mew: That kid believe what I said. I'm the one at fault. I should have remember him. If he crazy then it my fault for giving fake hope to that kid.

Gulf go and hug Mew. He know Mew is literally broken and that the reason Mew being silent with Lhong today.

Gulf: P'Mew its not you fault. You also young at that time. You just want to make him happy. Anyone at that situation will behave like that. You are good P'.

Gulf rub on Mew's back to calm him down. He bring Mew to bed and make him to sleep. Mew slept holding Gulf's hand which make him difficult to move. Gulf wonder how they could solve the issue because it totally different from what he except. He look at sleeping Mew. 

"Don't worry P' no matter what happen I won't let you go" thought by Gulf. 

Mew's mother arrived to Tae's house with Nine upon hearing Mew got fainted and hospitalized. She didn't go inside the room after Tae mentioning Mew just went to sleep and it's first time she is hearing about Gulf. She know her son is interested on someone but she doesn't want to interfere much before Mew himself telling her more details.

After sometime Gulf able to release his hand from Mew. He wanted to discuss about Lhong with Tae and Tee before anything much serious happen. He walk out of the room and saw Nine and and elder women whose face isn't visible enough. 

Gulf wonder should he disturb their conversation or not as he is not aware of the people just arrived. Gulf goes and get a glass of water. Tee saw Gulf and ask him to join them. Tae saw Gulf and get slight excitement as he the one going to introduce Gulf to Mew's mother. 

Gulf wonder what is going on.  

Tae: Maa, he is Gulf. Mew's boyfriend and Gulf she is Mew's Mother.

Gulf get tense. He know he is looking clumsy. 

The moment Mew's mother turn, Gulf dropped the glass he was holding. Everyone got shocked. Even Mew's mother's hand start shaking. 

Tears mixed with anger filled up Gulf's eyes. Tee quickly goes to Gulf. He pointed his finger at Mew's mother knowing it is rude. 

Gulf: You... you still out. 

Saying them Gulf just walked out of the house. Tee followed him scaring something bad would happen to Gulf. 

Mew's mother just stand still while tears flow her eyes. 

Mew watch everything and run towards his mother and hugs her. 

Tae, Mew and Nine are confused of what just happened. 

Mew: Maa, why Gulf is so angry with you? 

Mew's mother look at Mew. 

Mae: Mew, his parents are the one who dies in the accident mae did that night. 

Both Mew and Tae shocked hearing them. Mew knows how badly Gulf wanted to get those who cause the accident get punished by law. 

Nine just nodded. The moment he meet he Gulf the other day. He feels Gulf match the look he saw in CCTV footage but now it is confirmed. 

Mew feel lost.
