Danger zone [ z.m fanfic ]

We were in the middle of the photo shoot and Bill ( the photografer ) was looking at the pictures that he took of me before and a make up artist is touching up my make up and hair to make sure it's perfect.

I was going to be on the front page of ELLE, I have always dreamed of being in that magazine ever since I was a small girl.

We were shooting at the beach and the the sand was white with a slight hint of beige, the ocean was incredibly beautiful! The water was some kind of turquoise, you could see everything it was so clear and it looked so tempting, I just want to jump in and swim since it's so hot outside. The sun was hitting my face and I felt so good.

"Okay let's go, everyone to position! We need to be done in one hour!" Bill said and everyone ran to their positions and made everything ready. They fixed my lipstick and we were off to start again.

We were finished with the photo shoot and Bill stood on a chair to say something.

"Thank you everyone for participating and a special thanks to you Clarissa!" He jumped of the chair and walked over to me and hugged me I hugged him back and smiled.

"Thank you everyone! It's an honor to do this and I'm so happy about the pictures!" I said smiling and looking at the crew.

I shaked hand with almost everyone at the studio and then I packed my bags and walked down to the car.

"Hello Ms. Hartz, did the photo shoot go well?" He asked while opening the car door.

"Hi James. Yes, it was so fun! I'm really happy for those photos." I grinned proudly and sat down in the car.

He started the car and we drove off. I looked out the window and saw all the tall skyscrapers. I've always loved New York for their skyscrapers they are so tall and they look so majestic. It makes me feel like I could do anything.

We arrived at a tall building and I stepped out of the car. I thanked James and walked in. I love the entrance of this building because it looks so new, fresh and modern. It looks also really clean because of all the white details. When you come in to the right you have the reception and to the left you have a few sofas and tables and if you go further in you'll see a small café where they have the best croissants and macaroons!

I walked up to the elevator and pressed the up button. It only took a few second until it came down so I stepped in and pressed number 20, where I live and the elevator went up. I have never liked elevators actually because it always makes me think like "what if the elevator stopped and I'm here on my own?". I always feel so claustrophobic when I go by elevators but since I live on the 20th floor I have to, because I would never have the energy to go by stairs.

I arrived at the floor and walked to my door. I unlocked it and walked in to see that I have got gift bags on my bed. I squealed like a little girl, I love getting gift bags!

I ran over to it to see that it was from
Bill, it stood on the package ELLE so I think I got clothes and who doesn't love getting free clothes! There was a card that Bill had wrote and it stood.

I grinned at the card, wow that was so nice of him! I took out the plastic that was on top of the clothes. I picked up a black cocktail dress with lace arms. Wow it looked so freaking beautiful! Then I got some sport clothes and some skin products. I was so grateful for everything he gave me. I suddenly heard my phone ringing, I picked it up and answered.

"Clarissa Heartz." I said.

"Hi Claris! It's Kendall!" She said through the line and a smile popped up my face.

"Hi Kendall, how are you?"

"I'm good, oh my god you have to come to Dylan's party tonight! Everyone will be there!" She said and I definitely wanted to go.

"Yeah sure I'll come! Where will it be and what time, what should I have on?" I asked her.

"It will be at Dylan's penthouse at 7pm and oh wear something nice!" I could imagine her smirk through the other line.

"Sounds good to me I'll be there!" I said and hung up.

I checked what time it was and it was currently 4.30pm so I need to fix myself now but then I realized that I had makeup on since my photo shoot and I guess that I can go like this. I mean I like this look, I just need to touch up my lipstick and pu on some more mascara.

I looked through my closet and I couldn't find anything that would fit, either they were too casual or either they were too formal. Then I remembered that I got a beautiful dress from Bill. I walked over to the bed and laid out the dress and picked out a pair of black high heels. I went to the bathroom and just flashed of my body and then I put on my dress and my heels. I checked the time again and it was 5pm. It was two hours left but I can go to Kendall for a while and it takes a while to get t her since the traffic is so much at this time. I texted Kendall that I am on my way to her.

I put on my coat and put in my phone, lipstick, keys and some money in my clutch then I walked out to the elevator and told James to bring out the car. It took a few minutes until the car arrived and then we were off to Kendall's. I stared outside the window and the skyscrapers looked even more beautiful in the evening. I was stunned everytime I thought of it.

We arrived at Kendall's condo and I stepped out of the car and walked towards the entrance, a doorkeeper opened the door and I thanked him. I saw that the elevator was almost closing so I ran to it but I didn't get there in time. I sighed and pressed the button and tapped my foot against the floor. Someone tapped my back and I turned around too see a little girl about ten years old holdning a paper and her phone. I bend down so I'm almost the same height as her.

''Hi honey!'' I greeted her with a wide smile. I love when people come and talk to me and asks for pictures.

''H-hi, c-can I have your autograph and a picture please?'' She said nervously and I smiled at how cute it was of her, I am still not used to that people recognize me.

''Of course honey, what's your name?'' I asked while took her paper and writing down.

''Hailey.'' She said with big smile.

''Wow thats a really lovely name, I will remember that for sure!'' I said and gave her back her paper. ''Do you want to take a picture also?'' I asked and she nodded her head. I took a quick selfie with her while hugging her.

''There you go honey.'' I said giving back her phone and she hugged me, I almost fell but I remained still and hugged her back.

''Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!'' She squealed, now her fangirl is showing. I giggled of how cute she was.

''Okay but I have to go, I'll see you around honey!'' I said and waived as I heard the elevatordoor open.

''Bye, I love you!'' She said and waived back.

''I love you too!'' I said and that was the last thing I said before the doors closed.

''So miss which floor?'' The man asked.

''25 please.'' I said.

The doors opened and I stepped out thanking him and then walked over to Kendall's door. I knocked and she opened after a few seconds. She only had a bathrobe on and she was apparently doing her hair and makeup.

''Hi! Oh my gosh i've missed you so freaking much!'' She squealed and and hugged me.

''Yes I know I've missed you too! So do you need help with anything, your makeup or hair?'' I offered.

''No it's okay I'm soon done anyways I just need to curl these last pieces and then put on my dress."

I nodded and took of my coat and sat down on the sofa watching her as she got ready.
