But not for this girl.

Patricia open the house door. Her way to the upper room stop as soon as she realized the voice of laugh that come from the dining room.

Decided to take a peek to see both of her parents sitting on the sofa and laughing at something that she couldn't identify yet.

She frowning. Not everyday you get to see dad coming home around this time. He used to work overtime almost everyday.

She step away to get to her room.

Before her mother voice interupting her move.

"Cia, you're home sweetheart?"

Sigh

"Yes mum."

Soon after, her mom coming to her, taking her phone and showing it to Cia.

"Look! Calvin did a really excellent job with his observation for project work!"

Her mum looks so happy. She smiling as response.

"That's a really good news."

"I know right."

"I'm going to take a bath and rest a while. I'll coming down for dinner, yeah?"

Taking her way to upstairs, Cia didn't even bother what her mom's gonna say.

Cause she already know.

Right after she get inside her room, her mom knocking her door.

Startled.

Didn't think her mom's following her.

"Cia."

She opens the door right away.

"Yes, mom?"

Her mom smiling to her.

"You already see it, right?"

"See....what?"

"Calvin."

Ah, she know it.

"He said he's really happy there. He also said he hopes you can be there with him."

This conversation again.

"Mum..."

"I know, I know. You already decide to not taking the offer to finish your bachelor on New York. But why don't you just think about it again? It's not something bad."

"Mum, we already talk about this. Like, a lot. I thought you agree with me. You said you support my decision."

"I do agree with you. I just don't want you to take a wrong way."

"I am not, mama."

That argument ends after her dad coming up and tell her mom to let her get some rest.

That actually couldn't happen.

To be very honest,

She couldn't understand it either. Way to a successful life as a young bachelor is right in front of her eyes.
