Karrie's
It was 8 in the morning when I decided to go down and have my breakfast. Strolling to the kitchen, I become astonished when my eyes landed to a short haired woman sipping her tea, her beautifully painted pinky nail was standing defiantly in her china mug she was holding. I took the lump in my throat when I realized she was eyeing on me.
"Good morning, Karrie. Take a seat," she said, her voice was hoarse, a clear sign why she was here.
She must be tired living in the city and decided to take a break in her house where she let her daughter and sister lived. I composed myself and took the seat facing opposite her. The aroma of the food in front of me was very enticing, but I already lost my appetite to eat, knowing she was here.
"Where's auntie?" I asked, not looking at her eyes.
"She's out, she has an important errand to attend to."
Her lips formed into a thin line. It has been 2 weeks since I last saw her and I noticed the grim line in her forehead deepen. Her strict tired eyes were busy roaming my face, for a moment it softened, but she quickly covered it with her iconic impassive stare.
"Eat, Karrie. The food will get cold."
I quickly break the eyeing stare contest and transferred enough food in my plate. I urged myself to eat so I could leave this table immediately. It was a dead silent when I started to eat my breakfast, I saw her in my lashes, placing her expensive mug down.
"I've heard that you're dating Apollo Dy."
I tilted my chin and stared at her, what was she up to?
"Yes?" I said, bemused.
"I know that I have told you that I am not going to interfere about your romantic life, not until when you get into college but-"
"I know. What are you up to?" I furrowed.
"Well." She shifted in her seat, clasping her hands in the table, taking our conversation into a business mode. "I want you to break up with him," she said, not breaking eye contact with me.
My jaw dropped from her statement.
"Why?"
"The Dy's are our close family friends, Karrie. We don't want to ruin our good relationship with them."
I put my spoon and fork down. "You think our relationship is toxic?" I asked, controlling my voice.
"Yes," she said without a blink. I took a big gasp from her revelation. "I know what kind of person you are inside your school, you don't have a good reputation Karrie. You're alcoholic at your early age, you have new boyfriend every month, you are disoriented, you have nothing to be proud of about yourself to the Dy's." I felt my cheeks heated up from her words, it was like I was slapped in my face.
This wasn't the first time she said those words to me, but I was still appalled on how she said those statements without knowing the reason why I done such things.
"No. My answer is no."
She gaped at me. "I'm not asking for your permission."
"Me either, you don't decide who I want to fuck and I don't care if they are your constituents' son or friend, so stop meddling my highschool life." I shoved my seat backwards and stood up.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to visit my boyfriend and tell him we can FUCK each other until the sun sets. Because that's how toxic our relationship, right?"

Weekdays passed like a blur and I was at Apollo's gate, waiting for him to open it. I was about to ring the doorbell again when the door moved.
"What takes you too long to open this shit," I said, walking pass through him.
"Hey, hey, hey!" He grasped my arm. I halted, staring back at him, he was not wearing anything, except for his tight boxer that was soaked in wet, I licked my lips when it dried. "Where are you going?" he asked, eyes straight to my eyes.
"I-I..." I brushed my hair when I forgot my reason why I was in his house. "I wanted to swim!" I yelled full of energy.
I ran to the pool and took my shirt off, good thing I was wearing my favorite floral bra and underwear; I was confident showing off my skinny body.
"What are you doing?" he asked, opening his palms towards my direction.
I unbuttoned my short pants and let it fell on the green grass. "Undressing?" I answered him with a question.
"Yeah, I know,"
"Oh, that's great then!" I did not wait for his response and I dove into the blue sparkling water.
I resurfaced back from the water when I lost my breath. Apollo was pouting his lips, glaring at me as if he could kill me through his sharp stares.
I shoved my hair upwards when it almost covered my face.
"What?" I asked innocently, trying my very best not to look down on his stomach or else I'll lost my composure.
"It's either you tell me why you are here or else-"
"Or else what?" I asked, smirking at his annoyed face.
"Or I'll urinate this pool while you're swimming," he said, holding on his sides.
"Are you crazy?" I told him and clapped the water.
"Are you testing me?" Apollo walked near to the pool.
"Okay, okay, I'll tell you, lend me some towel first."
He threw the fabric on me when I got out from the water. I sat on one of the chairs and stared at him.
"Speak," he demanded.
"All right! Just shut up!" I yelled, grabbing the alcohol in the table and drunk it in half. "My mom is in the house, I don't want to see her face," I said, placing back the bottle where I got it.
"And you think it was a great idea to crush my place since you don't like staying at yours," he told me as if he was processing what I just said.
"Exactly, and for this shit." I stooped on the grass and grabbed my short pants. "Thank me on the last month, dickhead," I said, throwing the folded paper to his stomach.
"What is this?"
"Don't be stupid and just read it!" I leaned back in the chair and took the beer in my hands.
"You fuckin' stole Jessa's schedule from her notebook?" he asked, transferring his gaze back and forth to me and the paper.
"Oh, is that how you call it?" I took a one gulp from the bottle.
"Yeah, you definitely stole this from her," he said as if it was the obvious.
I stared at him, rolling my eyes. "Whatever, at least we could track her doings for the whole month."
"How did you get this?"
"Alex tore it yesterday while Jessa busy helping me to learn about... nerdy stuff," I said, closing my eyes as I leaned to my chair.
"We could skip some of her schedules until Friday since they are all shitty."
"I forgot, it's our prom night this Friday," he mused. "Who's your partner?" he asked, worried.
"Are you dumb, of course you, Apollo. You are my fake boyfriend, remember?" I told him, smirking.
"I thought someone already asked you to be their partner."
"Yeah, that's why I need you to ask me on Monday at the cafeteria, where people and that nerd could see and watch me being adored."
