Celeb Stories For The Hit: Hello, Zendaya. Thank you for joining me today.
Zendaya Coleman: Of course! I'm very pumped to be here today.
C.S.F.T.H: Zendaya, you are now about 28 years old—and looking quite beautiful if I may say so myself—and at the Teen Choice Awards, you gave a beautiful speech about what it means to you to be an actress, dancer and singer, and of course, role model. And now, nine years after the show K.C. Undercover aired, you are STILL going by your word! Why don't you tell us a little bit about your new show, and how it will impact the lives of teens around the world.
ZC: Of course! I'm actually really excited about this show. I have produced a show before, but directing is a whole different thing, and I just want to say that this show would not be possible without Sal Newman, The Fame Game's producer. Um, the show The Fame Game takes place in 2018, and the show portrays the life of a young adult—Sofie—who has a passion for dance—hip-hop to be exact—and Sofie wants to throw herself out into the world, but she's rather shy. She posts videos on Youtube and Instagram. She starts getting threats... um, as she rises higher into fame from someone on Instagram called "In The Lows". The show is about how she struggles with living a normal life and being famous. I wanted teens to know that being famous isn't very easy. We may look like happy individuals, but all of us actors, actresses, singers and dancers are all fighting a battle that you don't know of. THAT is what I'd like to portray in this show.
C.S.F.T.H: So it's kind of like Shake It Up.
ZC: I've never thought of that, but yes, it is sort of like Shake It Up.
C.S.F.T.H: Ahh, yes, that sounds like a very intriguing show. I'm rather excited myself to binge this show! Now there have been some rumors addressing the amateur dancer—Lilly Brian—who, like Sofie in The Fame Game, started off on Instagram and YouTube. The fans are dying to know—like Sofie—will Lilly be rising to fame?
ZC: Well... That isn't for me to decide, really. I love Lilly, she's a sweet girl, and we've exchanged numbers and have been chatting online, but I do not get the privilege of picking teh cast. But I will continue trying my best to get Lilly up there.
C.S.F.T.H: Thank you, Zendaya for joining us here today. It was a pleasure to be able to speak with you today.
ZC: No problem, I had a very nice time on your show.
C.S.F.T.H: Zendaya Coleman, everyone!
