Samael was the strongest out of the guardians. He was once the guardian of the Skull of Water. He made it his life to protect that skull. When he was given the other three, he guarded each carefully, and he died protecting them.
His body was found broken in many different ways, and it was later determined that he had been brutally tortured up to his death. One of his eyes was found to be missing, and to this day it is still unclear as to where his eye is.
