class had just ended finally deciding to meet r/n at the vending machine

you walked tiredly towards the vending machine not noticing the short middle blocker, dark haired setter creeping behind you

"y-y/n! im glad you showed up" R/n stated as he nervously poked his pointer finger

"of course... what is it that you need?" you politely asked

R/n was a foreigner looking boy that stood around 5'5 he never spoke in class unless it was to you or a teacher

"umm ah please don't think of me any less once i tell you" kageyama and hinata both overhear this and knew where it was going

your eyes soften "i'm sorry but i don't feel the same way..." kageyama and hinata both let out a breath of relief

"what...?" kageyama said to himself slightly hurt that his (possible) crush will accept someone else's feeling

hinata frowned from besides kageyama not wanting to say anything

R/n named quickly wiped his tears away with a small innocent smile
"t-thank you!" he handed you the gifts before he skipped off happily.

"he sure is adorable.." you spoke to yourself rather loudly as you admired the stuff bear

you carefully walked towards the two trouble makers making sure they wouldn't see you

"i'm right here" you spoke up from behind the two causing them to jump in fear

"we were talking about how much we missed you! Yeah!" hinata said cutely as he wrapped his tiny arms around your waist

you smiled down at him wrapping your arms around him securely "i missed you guys to! let's get going to practice" you said dragging the two along with you but failing to notice the frowns decorating their faces

"we have a week untill inter-high qualifiers! you guys have been sticking to your training regiment regularly and not overworking yourself! but..." you said showing them each of the notes before glaring at tsukishima who shivered under your gaze "you still haven't been playing at 100%! you just need to read a block tsukki" you said dramatically jumping and blocking a invisible spiker
