Lucie's time to shine! Tessa and Will's daughter is the only character so far who completely specializes in one type, a decision that was influenced by the Institute's ghost, Jessamine, her short story, and her special talent to command ghosts, as well as her friendship with Jesse.
Pokemon: Mimikyu Gender: Female Type: Ghost & Fairy Ability: Disguise
Moves: Shadow Sneak, Slash, Payback, Drain Punch
Mimikyu is Lucie's first Pokemon and on of her best friends. I chose Mimikyu because I feel like Lucie would be the type of person who would absolutely take in a lonely Pokemon no matter what they look like. I also think that the Ghost and Fairy type suit Lucie very well.
Pokemon: Polteageist Gender: Female Type: Ghost Ability: Weak Armor
Moves: Hex, Giga Drain, Teatime, Psychic
Polteageist is Lucie's next Pokemon. I really wanted to give Lucie a pure Galar/British Pokemon and Polteageist was the perfect Pokemon for that. Plus it is such a cute Pokemon.
Pokemon: Dhelmise Gender: None Type: Ghost & Grass Steelworker
Moves: Heavy Slam, Shadow Claw, Growth, Brutal Swing
Dhelmise is Lucie's third Pokemon and main battler. I picked this Pokemon foe Lucie specifically because while reading both Chain of Gold and the short stories leading up to the book released, I noticed Lucie has a habit of putting pirates in her stories. While Dhelmise is not a "pirate" Pokemon, per se, it is very reminiscent of a sunken ship. Plus, it was the closest Pokemon I could find to and ax, Lucie's main fighting weapon.
Pokemon: Litwick Gender: Female Type: Ghost & Fire Ability: Flash Fire
Moves: Shadow Ball, Mystical Fire, Energy Ball, Will-O-Wisp
Now, on to the last of Lucie's Pokemon, Litwick. While I doubt Litwick would be much of a battler at first, Lucie would still train with her and make sure she could stand with the rest of her team if needed. Even still, Litwick is mainly Lucie's writing buddy, often staying up late with Lucie and giving her opinion in the latest chapter in The Beautiful Cordelia.
