☆ Luca's POV

I watched the clock as the final minute of torture ticked by. Just a couple more seconds. The sound of the bell ringing filled my ears. I was free.

I got up, quickly grabbing my back pack of the back of my chair. Just as I thought I was finally done for the day, I heard Mr. Johnsons voice from across the room. Fuck.

"The bell doesn't dismiss you, I do." I sat back down. I knew what was coming. I honestly don't know why I even bother getting up anymore. I always have to sit back down again anyway.

"Everybody back in your seat." I sat back down. Mr. Johnson looked at us judgingly, for a few seconds. Finally he said, "You are dismissed." I quickly got up, and rushed out of the classroom.

Instead of going towards the door (which was to the right), I turned left. Every Monday, when they put up the new anouncements, I check the bulletin board.

I've wanted to join a club since I started middle school, but nothing has interested me. I'm kind of chubby, and not athletic enough for sports. I'm too scared to go on stage, most likely due to social anxiety. The chess club and and board game clubs are out of the question, because they would make me even less cool than I already am. I was never interested in them anyway.

So everyweek I check to see if they have something knew. They almost never do. I used to check everyday, but then I found out they only post once a week, so I stopped going so often.

I looked at the board, and my heart skipped a beat. They had something new! I was so happy, if I liked this club , and I joined it, I might finally maje freinds and become popular!

"Come test out my new invention...is completely safe...makes your worst fears come true?" I read under my breath. The last part kind of shocked me, and to be honest I didn't really beleive it. Makes your worst fears come true? That's impossible. At least I thought it was....

I didn't really beleive this guy (or girl), but I have to admit the note was compelling. And no one had signed their name yet. But they would probally sign later. This is the first thing I've actually been interested in. This is my chance.

Before I could change my mind, I quickly wrote my name down. Luca Thomas.
