The Wild Buffalo

we woke up in a town called Dickinson it was a smaller town but still a good size. I hopped into the shower quick before we hit the road again. we are almost across North Dakota! yes!
my dad said excitedly, "we should be arriving there today!"
"YES!" I practically yelled.
on the road again I put my earbuds in and escaped the world around me watching out the window. long plains of nothing but grass. much different from little falls! no trees! no lakes! how do people live out here?!

"MONTANA WELCOMES YOU"
the big sign read with a mountain muriel in the background.
"we should get to YellowStone in 3 hours... possibly less" dad announced.
awesome! it's 12:38pm and we are going to be there in 3hours! it will still be light out so I can check our camping spot out. perfect!
as we kept driving all of a sudden you could see a bumpy line across the sky... The Rocky Mountains!
"WOW! this sight right here takes my breath away!" i said in love with the view.
I quickly snapped some pictures. billings 2 hours. from Billings, Montana it's only 2hours away!
I stared out the windshield in awe. then just like that I could see trees again! it went from boring plains to the breath wilderness.
people at school always tell me I breath nature, it's true weirdly. I am like obsessed with the outdoors. it's practically my whole life.
I started to doze off not to far away from billings and fell sleep..
when I woke we were thirty minutes away.
I yawned loudly, "I'm starving!!"
"we will have hotdogs after setting up camp," my dad said.
my mom looked back at me, "we were going to wake you up in billings for a treat but you looked so peaceful."
YA. peaceful. first time in forever! for all I could know is my sisters probably fed me a bug in my sleep.. annoying brats.
i glared at my sisters. they had smirks on there faces. I went back to looking out the window. we were driving through the gorgeous mountains.
out of nowhere when I was gazing out my window I saw a huge buffalo!
"MOM, DAD LOOK!" I yelled.
mom looked with googley eyes,"OH MY!!!"
"good spotting hunny!" my dad said.
Hayden exclaimed laughing, "Ha! looks like Hailey!"
"YA! it really does!" Ally agreed laughing.
I glared at them.
"ENOUGH!" dad yelled at them.
I smiled.
we kept tugging through the mountains when a wood sign came into view...
"WELCOME TO YELLOWSTONE!"
