Chapter 7 crazy night

Janie's POV

As I sat back in the seat I began to think of what we can do without leaving the house.
Reason being it is still raining very hard outside...

hmm.
I got climbed off the recliner making it squeak.

I stumbled into the kitchen, opened the cupboard and took out a mini packet of Oreos, what? I'm hungry.

i walked back into the quiet living room.

"So...anyone wanna...fuck I don't know BUT ITS TO QUIET IN HERE!" Beau yelled.

"Ya think!" I said,raising an eyebrow.

To break the awkwardness Luke reached to the coffee table and turned on the Tv.

Wait a minute....I suddenly remembered we had a chocolate chip cookie mix I had bought. Yet, I never cooked them. Good thing too, now we can have something to do.

"Hey wait guys,I have some cookies,but if you want some your going to have to help me make them."

"Oo what kind?" Luke curiously asked.

"Chocolate chip." I said with a wink.

Everyone rushed behind me into the kitchen.

I opened the cupboard, moved over the bag of sugar and pulled out the mix.

"It's so beautiful." jai joked.

"okay beau, grab 3 eggs, the milk, and the measuring cup." I said, pointing him to the drawer which held the cup.

"Jai, you help me stir, and Luke you can get out the bowls."

Me and jai combined all the ingredients in the large glass bowl.

I looked up from the bowl.

"Hey brandan I need you to ask mom when she's coming back home."

But there was no reply.

"Wait where's Branden?."

I switched my head back too the jai and the bowl.

Standing beside Jai was my brother eating the dough.
I slapped his hand.

"Branden what are you doing?!."

"Sorry sis, I couldn't help myself."

"Oh and again, did mom text you when they are combing back home?."

"Well..." He rubbed the back of his browned haired head.

"Mom texted me this morning...looks like the boys are going to have to stay one more night the weather is still to rough.."

Great. I thought to myself.
I have to keep these boys busy...

After mixing the ingredients we used spoons to scoop blobs of dough into the cookie dough.

Out of know where i felt somthing wet and sticky on my cheek.

"Ew what is that?" I yelled.

Jai scooped the unidentified blob off my cheek.
those SOBS put cookie dough on me....that could have been made into a delicious chocolate chip cookie wah..

"Oh your find chill out kid." beau said.

I set the timer for 30 minutes and begun to wait for the timer to ding.

I stayed sitting on a wooded chair in the kitchen for a few minutes until jai came up behind me and tapped my shoulder.

"Oh my god! Jai you scared me!."

"Sorry Janie, but anyways I was wondering if we could go and finish that movie,my brothers and Brendan are being to boring." he said with a smile.

"Sure I guess so, it's better that staring at this clock." I said getting of the chair.

We went upstairs and I closed my door.

"Mkay." I put in the movie billy Madison with Adam Sandler.

last night me and jai had been watching it and I guess I kinda passed out, then we had the awkwardness of last night.

Jais POV

I find my self sitting with Janie once again.
nothing's happened yet....not like I want it to...but I do like hanging out with Janie she really is a nice gal.

Oh I know what to do.

"Hey Janie, I was thinking, maybe we can hang out at the mall with a few friends or something.
As friends of course."

she stared at me for a second probably thinking of her Awnser wait duh.

"Um sure jai sounds fun." she said with a smile and then focusing back on the movie.

"YO guys cookies are ready!." I heard beau yell from downstairs.

"Come on let's go." Janie said grabbing my hand and practically dragging me down the stairs.

We walked into the kitchen and everyone had already began to stuff Their faces.

"hey i'll grab a few cookies and we can go back upstairs." Janie said as she ripped off a paper towel and wrapped a few cookies inside.
"Woah woah what are you guys doing up their huh?" Beau said as he gave me a wink.

"Just watching a movie." Janie blurted out.

"Hmm....alright then." beau than went back to his cookie.

we trotted up the stairs and we booth literally jumped onto the bed.

Janie unpaused the movie and we turned off the lights.

"is it just me or is starting to get cold in here." Janie said looking up at me.

"No... I'd say it's I'm pretty warm." I said keeping my eyes on the screen.

"Hmmm lemme see." she felt my arms.
"Oh yes, your right you are warm." she said.

By now she had basically snuggled up to me.

wow, to be honest it was pretty nice being that close to someone like her.

After a few minutes I noticed she wasn't being her normal talkative self.
I looked down where she had been laying down under my arms .

Her eyes were closed, yup she fell asleep..
