Daniel's POV

At about the second episode I hear a small snore. I look down and notice Joey's fallen asleep holding a sleeping Wolf. I stop the show and and I stand up slowly so not to wake him. I pick him up and walk upstairs to our bedroom and I lay him gently down on the bed. I put the covers over him and kiss his forehead. I go back downstairs to retrieve a sleepy Wolf. I put him by our feet and  I go to the other side of the bed and cover myself up and I feel Joey curling up with me. I smile and close my eyes.

                                                 -----Next Morning----

I wake up and notice Joey isn't next to me. I lay back down trying to wake up. Then I smell smoke. I jump out of the bed and run downstairs to see Joey burning pancakes. "Surprise" he says kinda embarrassed. "I tried to make breakfast for us. But I think now it's clear I can't cook." he says. I laugh and pull him into a kiss. "It's ok. I have enough cooking talent for the both of us." I say laughing. Joey laughs to. "How about I clean this up then we go out to the Urth Cafe?" I ask. "Yeah, I like that idea. Less of a chance of burning down the house doing that." he says. "Yeah, that's for sure considering you won't be the one cooking" I say. I clean the skillet while Joey cleans the stove. "Ok, lets go pig!" I say. I grab the keys off the peg by the door. I open the can door for Joey.*Only one person will get that joke* "Oh, what a gentleman." He says blushing.

                                 ----time skip till they are at the cafe----

I open the door for Joey and we walk in. We sit in our normal booth at the back of the cafe in the corner. "I love this cafe." he says. "I do to." I say smiling. Our waitress comes over and I don't recognize her but Joey does. He jumps up and gives her a hug. "Kat! Omg, i'm so sorry I haven't texted. I've been so busy." Joey says. "Oh, it's fine. I thought you were just saying that to be nice. I mean why would you text a fangirl like me." she says. "Oh, is this you "roommate"?" she asks putting air quotes around roommate. "Yes. Kat this is Daniel. Daniel this is Kat." he says. "Hi, Kat. So how did you meet Joey?" I ask curious. "She was the woman who helped me adopt our pup Wolf." he says. "And you came out to her? Why?" I ask genuinely confused. "Because I told him that I know that I have feeling that I'm gay but I'm scared to tell anyone so hearing that Joey got what I'm going through would help me a lot." Kat says. "Oh. I wasn't trying to be rude. I was just really confused." I say. "I get it it's ok. If someone said that they came out to a random person." Kat says. "Oh, breakfast is on the house since I owe you a lunch." Kat says. We order pancakes and she brings them out to us. "Wait Kat!" I yell as she is walking away. "Why don't you pull up a chair and eat with us. First go get yourself an order of pancakes." I say. She smiles and leaves. She returns with the pancakes and sits with us. We talk about random things until she gets a text that she is needed at the shelter. "We will have to get together again some time!" I say. "Can I have you phone Kat?" I ask. She gives me a weird look but unlocks and hands me her phone. I put my number in and save my contact. I give her my phone and she does the same. Don't be a stranger." I say. "Your fans are so cool!" I tell Joey. "Yeah, they are." he says. "Speaking of which, there is a um meet and greet in a couple days and I was wondering if you would maybe come with me?" he says blushing. "Why do you always blush?" I ask Joey. He leans across the table and whispers in my ear in a very sexy husky voice. "Because it's my natural reaction instead of pulling you onto this table and making out with you." He says his lips touching my ear with every word he says. This time I blush. We finish our pancakes and leave. I open the door for Joey and he gets in the can. I get in on the other side and as i'm sliding into the can he turns and kisses me. I kiss back and we separate. I start the car and drive us home.
