When we cross over into a new year
It feels like we have entered into a new millennium
With a new life
In a new world
Some even wearing new clothes
With new attitudes to go with it
But still...
We have simply entered another day
With a different date
Just like everyday.
We all want to be better persons in the new year
How I wish we took the cross over into a new day like we do when we go into a new year
Then maybe mistakes won't take years before they are corrected
And instead of saying
'Next year I will correct wrongs I made this year'
We will be saying
'Tomorrow I will correct wrongs I made today'
Beacuse frankly
It is still a cross over.
