A/N: This was something I wrote in 2016 for my English class. We were reviewing different cultures' creation stories they told to their people and were given the assignment to creat one of our own. So, I wrote this and had already been buried into the back of my mind until today when I found it. I was roaming my cloud and saw it and began to read it. I don't know what was going through my mind at the moment but I just wanted to share it with some of you. (Don't mind the errors I was younger and a mediocre writer with imagination.) Let me know what you think in the comments.
What was it like before there was evil, before there was corruption, before there was hate, envy, or broken hearts? What was the start of it all, of creation, and the start of human life? There were two sisters, both very beautiful and alike, Raven and Helena, and their cunning, breathtaking and courageous friend, Amaris. They were the closest, most jovial and inseparable friends in Izora and everyone in Izora admired their innocence and happiness. Raven and Helena had a brother, Xavier, who was next in line to rule Izora after his father, Gabriel. Xavier and Amaris were in love, it was a matter of time for them to marry. Izora was perfect. Everyone lived contently, and Izora had for the longest time lived in a state of tranquility, and bliss. But, it wouldn't always be that way. There had come a time when Gabriel had exiled his best friend and right hand, Lucien, along with his son and daughter, Damien and Amaris, from Izora and had sent them to Inclementia. Inclementia was a place where the light doesn't shine and its frigid and bitter ambience seeps into your pores, making you feel lost, miserable and morbid; a place where all the fallen ones were sent to suffer. Lucien was filled with pure hatred, and he became the ruler of Inclementia and created an army out of all the Fallen who would follow his orders. They would fight for him whenever he demanded. Lucien made his son, Damien, his right hand, the leader of the Fallen army. Lucien only lived for revenge. Damien only followed his orders to please his father, and Amaris wandered around like a lost soul looking for her release.
Amaris lived with bitter resentment toward her father for having been exiled and losing the chance to be with her true love, Xavier. However, she held the worst resentment of all toward her friends, Raven and Helena. Amaris pondered on how close they always had been, how they had shared every secret, and had helped one another. The more she thought, the more she hated them for not having done anything to mitigate Gabriel's fury, or for not even trying to prevent her brother and her from being exiled. Amaris promised herself she would never forgive them and the same way they had taken her happiness, she would take theirs. She would make them feel like she felt. Thus, she formed a plan to ruin Raven and Helena. For her scheme to be successful, she would need her brother Damien to play a role in it.
Amaris consulted her brother without consulting the matter to her father first. She described to him what he would have to do. Damien would have to transform into another man, enter Izora, and make both Raven and Helena fall in love with him, to the point where their fight for him would break their sisterhood and friendship.
One bright and early morning in Izora the most handsome and well-mannered gentleman arrived. The sisters were taking a morning stroll when they came upon him. He presented himself to them and they were instantly mesmerized by his beauty, and his sweet-talk had them giggling and chattering soon enough. Day by day he would call upon one of the sisters to persuade her with his sweet words of love, and day by day the sisters developed true feelings of love for him. Neither knew that he was playing with both of their hearts. When the sisters talked about their quotidian activities, the topic of love arose. The more they talked, the more suspicious they got that they were talking about the same person. One of them mustered the courage and demanded from the other to reveal the name of this man, and thus she did. Both were infuriated at each other, the one swore to the other that she would vanquish in the fight for Damien's love. The sisters, once so close-knit, trustworthy, and inseparable, had become mortal enemies who despised and hated each other.
