A bit longer could've made you miss it.
Jeff and you were going to a Get Scared concert. Jeff took a whole lot longer than you. He had to clean his scars, straighten his hair, place in his snake bites, and apply a bit of eye liner. He must have applied it ever-so-lightly because it took forever. It was pissing you off.
"Jeff! Hurry up or we're gonna be late!" You yelled at him through the bathroom door. "Just a minute!" He annoyingly answered. "You said that twenty six minutes ago!"
He finally came through the door. His scars looked a lot like make up. "Woah, Jeff! How'd you do that with your scars?!" You said in awe. "Its a natural talent." He chuckled, "Now let's go!" He ushered you towards the door after you quickly grabbed you wallet along with him grabbing his.
Once in the car, you both drove about a fifteen minute drive to the concert. As soon as you entered the big concert building, you gazed up at Nicholas Matthews as he sang Don't You Dare Forget The Sun. It was breathtaking. Jeff came back after he had to go to the car as he had left something in the car.
He came back with tags. "Jeff, what're those?" You questioned him. "Backstage passes." He grinned with enthusiasm. "Oh my god! Where'd you get those?!" You shouted with excitement. "Let's just say that I won a bet with BEN. . . ." he said awkwardly. You laugh a bit and went up the stairs to the middle row.
As Sarcasm came on, people started jumping, fist-pumping, and head-banging. You could barely see because of all of the tall boys in the way. Jeff saw you struggling and hoisted you up on his shoulders. You blushed a bit. The stage lights moved around to the band and the audience. Your spider and snake bites sparkled in the light.
~Time Skip~
Once the concert ended, now was the time to go backstage to meet the band. Jeff gave you your pass and he placed his on. "Thanks Jeff, I really appreciate it." You tanked him with gratitude. "Aah it was nothing, it is your birthday after all."
Wait, what?
"It is?" You said confused. "Yeah, (month, day) right?" He asked. You nodded in response. "That's today." "Oohh shit! I forgot about my own birthday!" You panicked. "Woah woah woah, calm down (Y/N), don't wanna panic in front of one of your favorite band, do you?" You nodded and started to calm down.
Both of you entered the big room. There they were, Get Scared. You started to panic again. "Jeff, I'm panicking!" You whispered to him. "Just stay calm and don't freak out." He said calmly.
Jeff first approached Nicholas and greeted himself, with you hiding behind him. "Hi, I'm Jeff, and this is (Y/N)." He greeted you to him. Nicholas looked at you with a grin.
A total wave of nervousness washed over you as Nicholas gave you his killer grin that a girl would squeal for. You just wanted to faint on the spot. You could feel heat rise up to your face as you knew that it was a deep red. You could feel the corner of your mouth tugging upward to try and form a smile, but you just stood there with your mouth twitching like some mad person planning a homicide.
Jeff snapped his fingers in your face, making you break out of your trance of La la La. You looked up at Nicholas, "S-sorry, i-it's just that. . . You're my favorite artist. . . a-and. . ." All of a sudden, your voice trails off the deeper you get into your sentence. "Hubbaflubbalalalala" Your mouth ran out of words to say so you just said whatever came to mind "Do you like bread?"
Jeff practically facepalmed and then snickers slightly from your lack of words. Nicholas just stares at you, a face mixed with confusion and a trying-hard-not-to-laugh expression.
The ride home was kind of silent from that incident being utterly terrible in every way. Jeff turns and looks at you, "Hey, it could've been worse." Oh gee, thanks you thought. You sat back in the passenger seat and sighed, swallowing a bit hard as you felt completely embarrassed. You turn to the window and shed a few tears, not wanting Jeff to see you like this as he has never seen you cry before.
Jeff hears a few winces and whimpers escape your burning throat as you try to hold in your sobs. "Babe, please don't cry. Here." He stops car behind a gas station and unbuckles his seat belt. He gets out and walk around the car to the passenger side. He opens the door and unbuckles you. He carries you out of the car and takes you behind it. He opens the trunk to the car. There are blankets and pillows set up neatly in the roomy trunk. You notice a present next to the purple pillow, which you assumed was yours with Jeff's zombie pillow next to it. He sets you down in the trunk and crawls in next to you.
You look up at the sky to see the sparkling stars and the big moon that takes up a small amount of the midnight blue sky. You look at Jeff, who is also looking at you. His charming features are lightened up by the neon lights of the gas station's rim of the roof along with the moon light. It was simply breath taking. You could feel your cheeks growing red as you noticed that he was leaning towards you. He slowly started to close your eyes and lean in also as you couldn't resist the urge to kiss him.
Jeff's lips brushed against your own, then they pressed together with yours fully. You felt a spark ignite inside you as your lips connected with Jeff's. You turned your head to make the kiss deeper as you know that you nor him were going to pull away from each other. Jeff reached up and caressed your cheek with his pale, cold hands. You shivered by how cold they were but you still didn't pull away since the coldness of his hands comforted you.
As you two were lacking air from kissing, Jeff was the first to pull away. He didn't distance himself from your face too far. He rubbed your bottom lip with his thumb as you both stared intensely into each other's eyes. "Do you want to open up your present?" Jeff asked, his voice soft and low, the sexy tone that tickled you. You nodded after you slightly giggled.
Jeff reached over and carefully handed you your present. What was unique about it was that the wrapping was black with big and small blood splats that ran down the black. Along with it, was a small, neatly tied, white bow. "Jane did the bow, I can't do bows that neat and perfect." He chuckled lightly. You untied the bow and unwrapped the box. It was a medium sized box with holes punched into them. You looked at the holes, confused by why they would be there. You opened up the box and peaked in to reveal a small kitten with gray and black fur and white paws that looked like mittens. It looked up at you and mewled. "Hi master!" The kitten spoke. You squealed by how it spoke in such a tiny voice. You jumped by the thought of how it could talk. "It talks?!" You look at Jeff.
The rest of the night consisted of the kitten running around in the trunk and you looking at Jeff and the sky, savoring this special moment. A few minutes of the kitten running around, the kitten trotted up to you and sat down "What do you wish to name me master?" You looked down and pick up the kitten. You looked around for its sexual organs the found out that the kitten was a boy. Hmm. . . You thought "How about. . . (Boys name/ B/N)?"
The night drew towards the early morning and Jeff decided that it was time to go home. You nodded and hopped out of the trunk with (Kitten's Name/ K/N) in your hands. You walked to the passenger seat after Jeff closed the trunk and getting in the drivers seat. He started the car and drove home. You drifted off to sleep in your seat with (K/N) asleep in your arms.
