"My head hurts," Ariana leans against the leg of a desk.

"Yeah, mine too." Sitting in the middle of mountains of books, coughing and sneezing, both of them are in the search for the book about the legend about, well, a book.

"You don't think that Charles is causing all this do you? Since we both feel it. Though we are going to get sick inhaling all this dust. Didn't your nana clean this place up Sam?"

"I don't really come into her study.. Don't be silly now, I'm pretty sure it's Charles. We'll ask father if he gets that feeling too, later." Ariana flipping through the books desperately.

"You know what, this is a lost case, a mad case even, if you may. We'll never find the book and I doubt that your nana has one. And the legend? Wha.."

"I found it!" Samantha yells out out of the blue, causing Ariana's heart to beat faster for a second.

"What?" Samantha hands the book titled 'The Legend Of A Passage To Other Dimensions" over to her best friend. Ariana flip through it eagerly while Samantha sits by her looking at it in marvel.

--

Charles sits up, trying to ignore the aching headache he's having.

"Where am I?" He thinks. Looking around, he finally recognizes his best friend's couch. Getting up to get a drink, his body started to ache. With a change of mind, he lay back down. Too much work, he thought. The sun blaze through the window, pouring sunlight onto his face.

"Ughh," He looks around and grabs a pair of shades on the table beside the couch and put it on. Drifting off to sleep.

--

"Okay, I've finish cleaning up the mess in my nana's study. So please tell me you have something good." Samantha burst in the bedroom door and put down the tray of drinks and snacks.

"Yeah, mm, apple juice, thanks. Okay, yeah, the book says that there was once, twins tried to achieve what we're about to do, but failed.."

"I know that part already Aria." Cutting in and chomping on a biscuit, Samantha blurts out.

"Let me finish. The twins failed. And this book, isn't something you can buy Samantha! It's a journal. So let me ask you what's a journal, a journal about a legend doing in your nana's study?" Samantha shrug her shoulders, enjoying tea with her biscuit. Ariana ignores her and goes on.

"Because, this book is written by your nana and her sister!"

        "What?!"

"Yes. That's why your nana believed in this legend. She actually went to find the book and in process, they wrote down every piece of information they knew."

"Wow, I didn't know my nana has a sister, nonetheless a twin sister!"

"That's besides the point Sam. The point is, they failed because somehow, her sister did something that was not to be done. Look, it says here, 'My sister, Rebecca wasn't in her right mind when she ate the fruit. Hunger can do so much to a person. And within a few days, she couldn't go on, and I had to leave her behind in a village. The village was kind enough to take her in. But things cannot be done without the person you love most, as well as trust."

"What happened to Rebecca then?" Samantha asks.

"She passed away. There wasn't any antidote the villagers could find to cure her, the fruit she ate was deadly."
