I've decided to write this little chapter, so please tell me what you think and if you have any ideas then please let me know.
I don't own TSC or anything related to the show/books, they all belong to CW and LJ Smith.
Enjoy.
Cassie Blake was sitting at Diana's house, feeling tired. Everyone was relaxing after Black John's death since that threat was over. Melanie, Susan, Laurel and Deborah were sitting on the floor in the living room watching a movie while Diana and Adam were in the kitchen making snacks. Sean was sitting in the chair, Faye was sitting in another, The Henderson twins were on a second couch, but it wasn't as big as the others while Nick was sitting next to Cassie on the bigger one. Adam was putting the pizzas in the oven while Diana was getting the chips and cookies together on one plate and pouring soda into cups and glasses. "Faye, can you help me?" Diana asked, trying to balance it all so she wouldn't have to go back and forth. The black haired circle leader rolled her eyes, but still helped the blond one with the drinks. "This one goes to Cassie since she was the only one who wanted a Dr. Pepper." Faye nodded and grabbed it from her cousin before turning around and handing it to the youngest member of the circle who is the third leader. She handed the others their drinks too.
Awhile later, the pizza was done and Cassie went to help out Diana. She felt eyes on her and turned around to see Nick's stone cold expression looking right at her before she ignored it and he looked away, still hurting from their breakup. Cassie felt bad since she hurt him so much and even though Deborah was accepting of her being in the circle, she was still guarding Nick from Cassie and the proof was the biker's glare towards her since she noticed her cousin's exchange with his ex who left him for her best friend's high school sweetheart.
Cassie frowned and looked away, putting the slices of pizza on each plate, handing them to the circle before she sat down next to Nick. Adam noticed and didn't say anything since he knew how bad she felt when she hurt him because Adam himself wasn't happy with going behind Diana's back due to him not really stopping his feelings for Cassie when they met before she found out that he was dating her surrogate older sister. Cassie wanted to make things right with Nick, but didn't know how. She felt bad even though she never led him on and he knew what he was doing when he started dating her, but it still didn't hurt him any less. She missed him so much, but Adam was her soulmate and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Like Melanie said, they are meant to be together and nothing will or can change that.
Cassie broke out of her thoughts when Diana asked her to help with the pizza's. She nodded and handed some to half the circle members while Diana handed the other half to the rest of the circle. Nick whispered in her ear, "Are you okay?" She nodded, smiling at him. "Just thinking." He nodded and they went back to the movie with the other circle leaders. She took a sip of her soda and felt weird all of a sudden, but shrugged it off since she was tired. She ate her pizza and enjoyed spending time with her friends, even though Deb was still pissed off at her.
Eventually the movie was over and they all left the house since they all had school in the morning. Cassie felt even more weird when she woke up because all she could dream about was Nick. She was so confused and got ready for the day before Adam had to pick her up. Nick was walking out of his house when he saw her and smiled since he only did that when she was around. She smiled back and met up with him. "Hey." Even behind his grin, she could tell his eyes still held love for her and pain over their breakup. She never wanted to hurt him and felt bad about it.
They went to school together, talking about anything and everything, as everyone stood out of their way since Cassie was one of the leaders of the circle and Nick was always emotionless around anyone except her. They walked inside and went to her locker and she got her books out before they walked down the hallway to her first class. "I'll see you later." He walked away. Cassie felt a pair of eyes on her. She turned around. Faye. "What the hell?" The dark haired girl asked.
"Faye, leave it alone because nothing happened."
"I sure as hell hope not because Nick was mine first and you're dating Conant." Faye replied. sounding like she was threatening Cassie.
"We were talking." She scoffed and bumped into the younger girl as the former walked into class. The latter was feeling worse than before about hurting Nick and wanted to make it up to him somehow.
Adam walked up to her. "Hey, I drove by your house and you weren't there."
"Sorry about that." She walked into class and couldn't stop thinking about Nick.
When classes were over, Cassie got a ride home from Nick. They pulled up to Crowhaven Road and he parked in front of his house.
"Wanna hangout?" He asked, looking at her. She nodded. "Sure." They walked in and watched movies together. She looked at him and felt bad about hurting him so much when she left him for Adam.
A/N; For Diana, Faye, Cassie and Nick's house, I'm using the ones The Secret Circle used, but Nick's living room is the one Nick Stratos-from the Fosters who is also portrayed by Louis Hunter just like Nick Armstrong from the TSC tv show is, since I see Louis Hunter as the latter's book counterpart as well-used when Jesus said that Mariana didn't want to see him anymore.
