I was walking back home from school.

Great. Now I have to go to the nerd's house for this stupid project, and I have to deal with my father too when I get home. Ugh...

I made it to the house, and walked inside, seeing mafia members talking or playing. I rolled my eyes, walking towards the stairs, going up, and walked towards my room, before seeing someone at my door.

"... Hi dad. "I mumbled, glaring at him. He glared, "So, how was school?"

"it was... Okay, but I have to do a project with someone so I'm going to their house. I just need to get ready. "

"what? Oh no. You are not going anywhere. You have work to do. You are being the next mafia so you need practice so you can be ready. After all, I do want you to be with a woman who is worth all of the money you will get of course. "

"... Aren't I young to do that?"

"No. I mean, you are too young to have sex with your victims, but that doesn't stop you. "

I glared at him, "It's my life, and my business. Don't get in my personal life. "I growled before my father walked up to me, and grabbed me by the hair, pulling it back. I growled from pain, and looked at him, "Don't talk back to me. You will regret it if you continue talking to me like that. I'll make sure you get beaten up badly to the point that you pass out!"he growled out.

I grabbed his wrist, "Let go of me. "I mumbled, glaring, "I have somewhere to go right now. "I said, growling. Karu stared at me, and let go of my wrist, "Fine. Go on. I'll wait for you here to your beating. "he smirked, letting go of my hair.

I quickly just left the house, I'm not changing today. Hell no. I'm going to get beaten again like any other day. I don't want that stupid bunny to notice the new bruises my dad will give me.

I just need to focus on the challenge. Just focus.

"Come on Sam, it won't be so bad. He's just going to be there for like an hour, not a lifetime."Grian reassured as his voice came out of the phone. I groaned,"Grian, he is a total jerk! From all of the students we have, why did it have to be him? I rather eat dirt than work with him."I complained,"It's not fair! The worst part is that I'm alone with him in my own house! This won't end well!"

I heard a groan come out of Grian,"At least give it a try besides you need this project, and work with him to get a good grade. Don't you want a good grade?"

I got quiet, thinking and sighed,"Yes. Yes I do."

"Then deal with it. It won't be hard. If he tries anything on you, just kick him where it hurts. Problem solved!"I groaned,"I guess... But he's coming soon, and I'm cleaning my living room. I need this living room clean, focus on the project and not him. I just need to ignore him if I can."I took a deep breathe to calm down as I placed the dirty dishes in the sink of the kitchen to wash later.

"Oh! Maybe you can use this time to get to know him! You always seen him at school, and how he acts. How about you get to him as a person, and outside of the school? I'm sure he's different outside of the school."

"Ha! I'm pretty sure he is still the mean, and selfish person outside of school. I've known him since middle school, and he was always a jerk. Believe me, that boy doesn't care about anyone besides himself- well besides himself and Jay."

"At least he has a good friend like Jay, right? He is nice, and sweet! He actually cares about the people around him!"Grian said with joy,"I wonder why he became friends with him in the first place...."Grian mumbled.

"Same, but right now, I need to focus on Taurtis, and his attitude, along with being able to work with him on this project. I'll tell you how it goes tomorrow."

"Right. Good luck."Grian said before ending the call. I sighed deeply as my bunny ears went up when a knock was heard. I groaned.

Oh no...

I slowly made myself walk to the door, and opened the door to reveal Taurtis standing there with a huge smirk,"Hey bunbun~"he cooed.

I cringed, and let out a deep sigh.

Let this nightmare end already...

Lol im back with this book. Im gonna try to finish it if I can but there a chance of me rushing it though so ;-;
