Ever After High: A Christmas Peril

Chapter 4: Introducing Captain Joseph

When they arrived outside at the center of the small Caribbean building, they knew it would be crowded with people from far-off and other neighboring places who had gathered round to meet the original owner of this entire theme park. They all felt the hexcitement inside themselves as well as the Rebels while they all looked forward to be meeting Captain Joseph and his own crew for the first time in their lives when they make their first appearance in any moment at this time of day. Just then, an announcement had been called from those mountable horn speakers on the crow's nest. "Ladies, gentlemen and children! Welcome to Adventure Island, the all-new and most exciting amusement park in all of Ever After!"

Everyone all clapped and cheered as a big round of applause. Then suddenly, unseen by them and to those from Ever After High, a mysterious silhouette of a figure on top of the lighthouse watches over at the people at Adventure Island, waited patiently to make his appearance to the center at crowd until the announcer made it's final call. "Introducing without further ado, the king of the seven seas and the proud original owner of this entire amusement park who is always there to guide us, as well as to protect us and his premises at all times. And here he is, it's the one and only... Captain Joseph!"

Everyone cheered once again and made a big shout out to the first name. "Joseph! Joseph! Joseph!" Even everyone from Ever After High did the same and it wasn't long until all of the sudden, a shadow appeared on the ground in front of the crowd and then up above the lighthouse came the mysterious figure who stood above it had then grabbed on to the zip line with it's hook on it's left, swooped down towards the crow's nest and climbed down on a rope safely to the ground, right in front of everyone and of course Arthura, Baba Yaga and the Rebel students who all looked amazed as Captain Joseph revealed his true appearance. A young and handsomely, hard-working captain with a heart of gold. "Hoarr!" He roared with joy, as he also gave a shocking reveal to them. A shiny hook on his left arm and a skeleton hand that is spinning around on his right arm.

"Welcome all to Adventure Island. I am Captain Joseph, a fearless, loyal and most hard-working young Captain in all of this entire Fairy Tale World." Everyone looked at him within impression, until Joseph's crewmates turned up and someone who is dressed inside a funny looking costume of a shark as the mascot of Adventure Island. "These people are my crewmates and the most helpful employees who can take you to which place you would like to go if you're really having trouble to do so. But remember. If there is trouble that you see, you must come to me or my team and we will always be there to help make my park a safer place. Isn't that right, team?"

The crewmates agreed and so did the mascot who jumped side to side and spun around like a top spinner, feeling fairy energetic in front of everyone and that includes the Rebels from Ever After High and they all laughed at it, thinking how funny it looks as it slowly grooved around. "Aye-aye." Said Joseph, looking quite puzzled as he witnessed the crowd laughing. "What is so funny? I don't recall being laughed at unless there is a reason for it." Baba Yaga who stared at the fidgety mascot decided to give in the reason. "Excuse me young captain." She said. "It appears to me that someone who is inside that shark costume seems pretty excited with all of his energy inside him. That's why everyone here has started laughing. Not at you or your crewmates, but the mascot itself." "A mascot you say?" Joseph asked as Baba Yaga nods her head which meant 'yes' to Joseph.

Then Joseph turned around and saw the shark costume being stared at by everyone and his crewmates, which has now got him feeling confused about why he is being stared at and Joseph soon realized that this could only mean one thing. "Ah-ha!" He hexclaimed. Now that I see is our new crewmate of this entire amusement park and I know just the reason why he is wearing it. He is a little shy to show his gorgeous face with pointy ears." Everyone felt surprised to hear that as Joseph called in the mysterious person inside the shark to show his real appearance to the crowd. But He didn't say a word and flipped his arms and shook his head to say that he doesn't understand of what Joseph was trying to explain of what he wanted him to do.
