Back to Normal

I woke up, walked downstairs and saw Ethan on his phone at the table with a cup of coffee. I walk up to him and give him a hug on his shoulders. He looks back and I expected him to shut his phone off but he didn't. He smiles and says "Hey, how ya feeling?" With a smile. "Normal" I say as I shrug my shoulders. He smiles and says "That's good. Glad you're feeling better!" Hm.. why is he being so nice? We only met yesterday.... Oh well, I kinda like it.

I sit down next to him and he asks " Wanna go to a movie?" I smile and say "I'd like that." " What movie would you like to see?" "How about Into the Woods?" "Sounds great lets go at 1" "Okay I'll go get ready!" I stand up and trot upstairs when I realize Ethan has no clothes. I run back downstairs and ask him about it. Before he could answer I say "Or you could borrow some clothes I have from my ex Kyle......" "You still have them?" He asks. "Yes, he left them but I don't have the courage to see him.." I say. which is true. "Yea if it fits, thanks" he says. His smile is shimmering.

Once we're ready we go to the movies to see into the woods. We get amazing seats, popcorn, icees, candy, and napkins then go into theatre 7. When we walk in we go to our seats. Then we realized the seats reclined. It was so comfortable. We watched the movie and laughed, cried, smiled, gasped, and frowned. It was a movie of emotions.

We got out crying and wishing it ended differently. We got in the car, and started talking about different endings. We laughed so hard I had to wipe my tears and hold my stomach. We got back to my apartment and walked to the couch. I plopped down exhausted. Ethan sat on the other side of the couch. It felt very distant. We started talking about the characters and who we would be like. I said The bakers wife. He said "no you're not you're Cinderella." I looked at him and smiled then asked "Why do you think that?" He replied sweetly "Because you're a princess with a dark childhood." Im confused "Dark childhood?" I asked. "Yea kinda... you didn't have a father, and you're cursed..." He said easily. "Yea but I didn't know it." I said, still confused. "Yes but that didn't change the fact that you have it." He said a little too harshly. "Yea. I guess you're right... but I thought you said it didn't change a thing?" I questioned. "It doesn't but it just adds missing pieces to the puzzle." He smiles then chuckles. "Why are you laughing?" I ask starting to smile. "You must have been a very cute kid." I laughed with him then said "You would be Rapunzels Prince." "And whys that?" He questions. "You're a prince but, not a stuck up brat." I reply with a laugh. He laughs with me. I turn and lay my head on his lap. Ge starts stroking my hair when he says "You're beautiful Anna" I smile and say "You too" he just laughs then says "I prefer handsome" I smile and shut my eyes.
