Today marks the day. I got added into a random discord server with my future internet best friend.
"hey guys!! add my gamer tag please :) kismetkid" a random girl chatted.
"ok... sure! here's mine rainingonyou1025 "
The server started to get really crowded after a while. I made so many friends today it was most very bizarre. I am new to this discord app, and just looking for some friends to chill and play minecraft with.
*incoming notification* "kismetkid has invited you to a game! Click here to join."
Chill. Playing with this random girl I met online. Totally not out of the norm for me.
I opened the game to Minecraft! Yes let's get it.

After playing with her for hours, I realize what an epic gamer she is. She has such good speed running skills and isn't even scared to go mining alone. I am kinda embarrassed to ask her to go with me... so I decided i'm not gonna go today. Many people have been joining, but I mostly talk to Kismet. She seems really nice and has such an adorable personality!
Hours turned into staying up all night. We start play with each other everyday and eventually start becoming better gamers. More games roll in, but we always end up playing Minecraft. Soon enough, we start doing things like face timing and talking about more than just playing games! Every moment I spend with her makes me feel better about myself. Days have turned to months and she takes number one spot as the longest friendship i've ever had.
"Hey Kismet?" I asked, hoping for a response.
"Hey rain?" She mockingly said in a tired voice.
"Don't fall asleep just yet." I quietly asked.
I looked down at my screen to see her eyes shut and her mouth resting in a smirking position. The are blankets up to her chin, because the heat wasn't working that well in her house tonight.
"Why? it's literally 3 A.M. " She groaned.
"I just wanted to let you know you make me so happy and-" I abruptly get interrupted by the very loud but kinda adorable snores from my phone speaker.
I giggle and set my phone on my night stand. I turn on my side, trying to fall asleep. I try to contain my enthusiasm but a soft smile spreads across my face. I have the greatest friend in the whole world.
