Chapter 2- Shopping

Part 2

Waiting for the girls, Serena pulled out her phone calling Tenzo. Talking to each other, Lanice appeared with a fluster expression.

"Do I really have to wear these clothes?".

Hanging up on Tenzo, Serena smiles.

"We made a deal, remember, I'll allow you to wear whatever you want inside the house, but once we leave the premises you have to wear regular clothes, besides you look fine".

Looking at her outfit, Lanice wore a plain white t-shirt with a black skirt, and black and white knee top converse. Asking Serena if shoes were necessary, Serena told her she needs to get used to wearing shoes since all humans do.

Making face gestures, Lanice knew that even if she tried to argue about her outfit or shoe style, Serena would reject the request. So standing there trying to adjust, Lanice asked Serena where they were going.

Telling Lanice, they will be going to the shopping district to buy her clothes, Serena shouted.

"Kimiko Rina Ikoi, if you aren't out here in five minutes, I will leave you here alone and have you fend for yourself while Lanice, Shen, and I are out shopping".

Hearing her mother's threat, Kimiko rushes out her room putting her cardigan on.

"Mom that isn't fair, I was doing my hair".

Smiling, Serena told her she should have done it sooner, knowing that her hair isn't easy to tame, Kimiko replied it isn't her fault she can't control how wild her hair is. Listening to the two talk, Shen appeared walking to Lanice, and planted himself in front of her.

Before leaving the house, Serena told Kimiko to take Lanice and Shen into the car while she turns on the security. Watching the three leave the house, Serena starts to wave her hand back and forth putting a barrier not only inside the house, but outside as well. By putting a barrier inside and outside the house, it informs Serena if an intruder tries to break into the house.

Satisfied with the barrier she put up, Serena headed to the car, getting in and drove off heading to the shopping district.

While Serena was driving to the shopping district, deep within a forest, Haji and Daisuke appeared. Leaning against a tree, Daisuke sniffed the air.

"Haji, I know the air here shouldn't affect you, but before we try to do anything, I must first adjust to the smell here, it's horrid. How in the world can these filthy humans live like this".

Laughing, Haji sits down.

"Stop being a baby Daisuke. If I can adjust to the smell, so can you".

Telling Haji the only reason why he can't adjust to the air is because of his vampire side, Haji licked his lip and told Daisuke if he wanted a distraction for the air, why don't he suck his blood.

Thinking of Haji offer, Daisuke would have accepted but declined.

"Haji there's no time right now for me to suck your blood and you know this. Before we try to do anything, the first thing we must do is find the girl who escaped and bring her back with us to the demon realm".

Pouting because he felt Daisuke ruined a perfect moment, Haji told him in a childish voice he isn't doing anything but sit here and Daisuke has to do everything on his own.

Glaring at Haji, Daisuke knows how childish he can be, he signs to himself and tells Haji to stop being childish and find the girl. Continuing to pout, Haji told Daisuke to stop nagging him and he'll do it and Daisuke smirked because he knew he won the battle.
