I stand up and go to him. “ Caspian what are you doing here, I was going to leave in about 10 minutes.”
“You’re leaving now.” He said this and grabbed my arm and led me away towards the hall.
“Caspian, what are you doing,” I say and snatch my arm from his grip.
He grabs my chin roughly, “ I said you’re leaving now.”He let go of my chin and led me to the parking garage where my vehicle is.
“Give me your keys,” he growled.
He opened the passenger door for me and then walked around and got in and started the engine and drove away.“Caspian, what’s your problem. Why did you act like that back there? Lately you’ve been so overbearing, maybe we need some time apart to think about if this relationship is what we really want.”
“I know what I want. You’re the one that seems confused.”
I tried talking to him after that but he only stayed silent until we made it to my apartment.
When we make it to my living room I drop my stuff down and say, “ Caspian, I’m sorry, I didn't mean that, I just.”
I didn’t get a chance to finish because he slapped me and I fell down against the couch then landed on the floor.
I stare at him with so much surprise.
“Caspian!!.”
He leans down into my face and grabs my shirt collar and stares deep into my eyes. “I’m always there for you. I praise you and all your accomplishments, something your own father doesn't do. I cook and pack your lunch everyday. All I asked is for you to let me know where you are. One problem and you throw our whole relationship into question. Is that what you’re doing?
I feel so much pain behind his statement. I've been a bad girlfriend and a bad person. No wonder my father neglects me.
“I didn’t mean to question anything. I just lost myself for a little while, that's all,” I said, still holding my cheek.
“Maybe I should leave until you know what you want,” he growls and stands up and walks towards the door.
“No please,” I say standing up and grabbing his hand. “You’re all I have left, don’t leave, I-I wasn’t thinking clearly.”
He turned around to face me and kiss me.
He demanded, “ move in with me.”
“What,” I say surprised again. I’m happy, but I can’t help but to be cautious.
“Do you think that’s a good move for us? We've only been dating 3 months.”“Do little miss princess not want to move in with me. Is my house too simple for your rich lifestyle.”
“You know that’s not true. I love your house, why would you even say something like that, is that what you think of me.”
He grabbed my chin hard, “ don’t sass me princess.”
I start deep into his eyes. “ I want you to tell me you love me, that you have some kind of feelings for me. I have to have something Caspian before I uproot my life. Can you reassure me you won’t hit me again. I don’t want our relationship like that. We have to trust each other. I don’t want anyone but you.”He grabs my hand and says, “ Etta Jane Bishop, I love you. You are my world, my everything and I don’t want anyone but you, and I won’t hit you again I’m sorry. I lost my temper.”
I nod, “ Caspian Lee Zayd. I love you too. And I would love to move in with you.” I still have reservations, but now I’m too afriad to voice them. What if he hurts or hits me again.
