7- The Breakup

My POV:

After lunch, I went back to my dorm to do my homework. My phone buzzed and I picked it up. It was a text from my boyfriend, Jack. It said "I'm sorry, Chanelle. Things aren't working out between us. I know you're suffering from depression and anxiety, but I just think you'd be better off with someone else. I'm so sorry. Please don't be mad at me."

I started to cry. Jack was the best person I've ever met. He understood me, listened to me, and loved me. But I guess he doesn't love me anymore.

Bakugou's POV:

I heard crying coming from Chanelle's dorm, so I decided to see what's happening. I open the door and see Chanelle crying and throwing things in a bag.

"Chanelle, what's wrong?" I asked. She looked up, ran over to me, and hugged me. "My boyfriend broke up with me. We've been together for three years. He was my everything." She told me. I'm gonna kill that bastard!!!!

"I know it's hard to let someone go. Trust me, I've been there, and I know it hurts but you have to let him go. You don't need him anymore. You're a strong, independent woman. You're you, and you don't need him to be who you are."

She looked up at me, wiped the tears off her face and smiled. "Thanks Bakugo. You're the best."

Sorry I haven't been updating. I'm back at school and I have a lot going on at home, so I won't be updating as much.
