Naruto POV
*At the entrance of Konoha Village*
"It's been almost three years since I've been here"
Naruto takes a deep breath and exhales. Jiraiya steps behind him putting his hand on Naruto's shoulder. "Well kiddo, you did it. I hope you step into the village with pride knowing that you left the hidden leaf as a boy, but you are returning as a man!"
I've learned a lot from pervy sage, I feel stronger and smarter. I've just about mastered my chakra control, and rasengan. I know I'm one step closer to being able to bring Sasuke back home. *Naruto's fists clench in anger* Stupid duckass Sauske, why'd you have to go and leave? I wonder where he is right now-
"Okay Naruto, Lady Tsunade wants us to report in the morning right at 7 so that she can introduce you to your new team mates."
".. New team mates? What are you talking about!?"
"Since you've been gone what did you think Sakura was doing, waiting for you to get back? They've added two new members since the departure of you and Sauske. One male, and one female. Their names are Sai, and Katsuki. I would imagine shortly after the meeting tomorrow you will be assigned your first mission back with Team 7."
It's pretty selfish of me to think Sakura wasn't participating on a team or completing missions while I was away, of course they've added two new members. I wonder how Sakura has developed since the last time I saw her.
Light blush appears across Naruto's cheeks.
Naruto nods
"I'll be there. BELIEVE IT!" Naruto flashes a closed eye smile, and his signature thumbs up.
"Hey pervy sage, wana go grab some ramen?"
It's been three long years without my favorite food so it's gotta be my first stop. I've had ramen while I was away but nothing was as good as ICHIRAKU RAMEN.
"No can do, kiddo. I've got a lot of research I need to do for my new book"

"Why don't you go find Sakura and take her on a date? I know you fancy the girl. You are at that age where you should start putting some thought into dating and creating new relationships. Or at least start getting some practice in ha!" Jiraiya slaps the back of Naruto's chest.

Naruto's face fushes with bright red across his cheeks
"HOW COULD YOU SUGGEST SOMETHING LIKE THAT? GEEZ YOU REALLY LIVE UP TO THE NAME I GAVE YOU HUH PERVY SAGE"
Jiraiya's loud laugh echos while walking away and waving the boy goodbye.
It was no secret that I used to have a crush on Sakura. She's a beautiful girl, but I've grown up and I know that she will never love me the way I have claimed to love her. She loves Sasuke, and that will never change. I haven't put a whole lot of thought into girls, or who is going to be"by my side" but it sure would be nice coming home to someone after a long day.
The emptiness in his stomach removed him from his deep thoughts.
"Anyways, I don't think I could love anyone more than ramen!"
As Naruto is jogging through the village, he see's a lot of familiar faces.
Man, it's almost like nothing has changed. Everything looks the same, as if I was here yesterday.
Just as he arrives to his long overdue visit he hears a soft angelic voice-
"Ichiraku ramennnn"
He turns his head to the left to find the source of what his ears have heard. As he finds it his head tilts. It'a a girl. Not just a girl, a beautiful one. Her eyes are closed standing outside the entrance of Ichiraku ramen. She looks like shes deep in her thoughts. Naruto observes her thoroughly. A hidden leaf headband? This girl is a shinobi. But I have no clue who she is, I've never met her before. She has silver almost white long straight hair and tan golden skin. The mystery ninja opens her eyes exhales deeply and walks into the shop.
Naruto walks not long behind her, scanning the dining area to find her.
At last he finds her sitting on the far left bar stool. She looks, uncomfortable. Almost like she would want to be just about anywhere else except where she is in that moment.
Naruto leaves about four empty bar stools in between them. Not wanting to be noticed for staring way to hard at a girl he doesn't even know. He focuses on placing his order.
"Hey old man, can I get a miso ramen with extra chasu?"
"Coming right up!"

Suddenly the girl gets up, and runs out of the shop.
Naruto stood up, and walked outside only to find no trace of the mysterious girl.
"hmm, that's weird."
Naruto walks back into the shop and enjoys his long anticipated favorite meal, not thinking to much into what had just happened.
Katsuki POV
My heart drops
I look over to see a boy, in an orange and black jumpsuit with bright blonde hair, and blue eyes. He has... whiskers? I've never seen that kind of facial feature before but it suits him well. His voice is unlike anything I've heard before. He hasn't stopped smiling this entire time I have been watching him, it feels nice to observe someone who truly looks happy. Happiness is such a foreign feeling for me..
After over analyzing the boy, the overthinking thought's of my dead brother consume me. I can't, I can't do it. You quickly stand up, and rush out of the room.
~Time skip to home~
The entire commute home was a complete blur. I open up the door only to find that my parents had already left for their mission. It's better this way, I hate letting them see me cry. Closing the door, I slowly slide down and drop to my knees.
