My School Experiences...

The Attention Whore

So I was friends with this girl, we're gonna call her Trisha!
She was an attention whore and everyone in school knew. So basically she would always makeup fake ass things to make herself seem more interesting. e.g. she once made herself bleed by getting a shard of glass from the ground and cutting her whole finger with it and pouring the blood into her underwear to pretend like she had her period so she got a lot of attention like wtf? Another example, she once told me she had a pet dinosaur at home and that I wasn't allowed to see because I didn't tell her crush she had cancer. Like WTF!?!?!? So yeah as I said... An attention whore!
(BTW this was in 4th grade oof) So one day she thought it would be a great idea in the middle of recess for her to steal a ladder from the janitor closet, climb up to the roof of the school and pretend like she was about to jump. Who tf jokes about suicide!? Anyways everyone was panicking and surrounding the building she was on top of. (Which was our music building which wasn't that high up.) She was obviously hiding a smile. She kept on yelling things like, "No one loves me!" And, "I deserve death!" A teacher came up to me with 2 police officers and they asked me questions like, "Do you know any reason why your friend would do something like this?" And I literally was sick of her being an attention whore so I said, "To be honest with you, she doesn't have a reason, her parents lover her, nobody ever makes fun of her and she is always the centre of attention and the reason she's doing this is probs because she wants more attention." They were so confused on why someone would do this for attention. After a couple hours a fire brigade came and got her down safely, she expected to just go home and not have to do anything about what just happened but guess what happened to her in the end? She got put in a mental hospital and every time she got let out she kept threatening to commit and she kept getting put back into hospitals. Moral of the story is don't crave attention so much that you end up doing shit you're gonna regret okay see y'all next story!
