"Where the hell am I ?" I woke up in a partly built apartment.
The apartment had no doors, no windows. Just open spaces for them.
I dusted off my clothes as I stood up.
"Aishh it was a new one and it is already wasted "
I realised that I was in one of the top floor as I saw the view outside.
The city seemed to be arranged in a order from regular homes to very luxurious ones the other side.
I walked to the front door and I realised the opposite apartment had a door. I heard subtle sound of television from that apartment.
I knocked on to the door.
"Who is it disturbi-... Oh y/n why are you here child? " I surprisingly saw my aunt who seemed a little bit shocked and worried to see me there.
"Umm I don't know" I said.
She stroked my head in a gentle manner and was even more shocked as if she saw something.
"Wha-what happened? " I was curious.
"Oh my god you had a car crash and you slipped into a coma" She freaked out.
" I WHAT? " Sudden Images flashed in my mind. I was singing 'you belong with me 'and driving my car. Then suddenly when I was crossing in a junction....
Another car had collided into mine. The next moment my car had slided , making a circle and it had hit on something.
"Arghh" A sharp pain suddenly hit my head.
"Slipped into coma? " I murmured as I realised.
"Yes" She said
"And you have only 48 days to go back" She said.
"How do you know?... Am I sleeping?.. Is this a nightmare?.. Or have I gone mad? " I was beyond confused.
"Technically you are sleeping and my baby, If you don't remember... I died" My heart sank on those words. Yes she died few years ago on my birthday night at her place. She was my favorite.
"I- I am not able to understand this" I said.
"All you need to is get into the city and get your ticket back" She said.
"How do I do that " It felt too surreal at the moment.
"When you do your task that you were meant to do here before 48 days.. You go back" She said
"If not? " I gulped
"You stay in this after life until you choose to rest in peace" She said
