Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. It was silent in the Sasuke's hospital room. Time: 1:00 AM. Sakura was sitting in a chair, close to him. Sasuke had his eyes closed, while their daughter was snoring on the couch. The doctor's said it was a miracle, the sword didn't hit any vital organs, but the doctors also said it was gonna leave a scar. That was okay for Sakura, since Sasuke always had scars back then. She gripped his hand, and held it close to her. Sure, she hated the fuck outta him, but she didn't want him to die, either. Sasuke opened his eyes slowly, and looked at her.
"Hi," he said quietly, trying not to wake up Sarada.
"Hey," she replied, giving him a smile. "What do you remember about, you know, everything?"
"Well, what do you remember?" Sasuke asked.
"All I remember was dragging you out the door of the ramen shop," Sakura replied after a few moments.
"Nothing after that?" Sasuke questioned. She shook her head slowly.
"Everything was blank, and then the next moment, Sarada was hugging me and I had a sword in my hand," she explained. Sasuke thought for a moment.
"So the person who mind controlled you must have been of the Yamanaka clan," said Sasuke.
"Well, we can't point fingers just yet," she pointed out.
"I'd rather think about it tomorrow," Sasuke yawned. "I'm going back to sleep." Sasuke threw the blanket over himself, and stretched his arms.
"You can lie down here if you want," Sasuke said awkwardly.
"Well, I'll have to tie you up to make sure you don't touch me," Sakura replied.
"Hey!"
"Shut up, Sarada is sleeping."
"But why would you tie me up?"
"Cuz you're a perv."
"Well, I'd like to see you try to tie me up, and plus, I'm not a perv."
"You stole my panties!"
"That was when we were 17! That was ages ago!" Sarada stirred in her sleep, and Sasuke and Sakura both decided to shut up.
"Fine, I lay down with you, but I swear, if you—"
"Alright, alright. Damn woman." Sakura went into the blankets with him, and she avoided touching him as if he was the coronavirus.
"Good night," Sasuke whispered to her after a few minutes.
"Y-Yeah," she stammered. They both fell asleep.

Sasuke decided not to touch Sakura even after all of the sexual impulses he had about her (Sasuke, you naughty boy), and he was the one to first wake up. Sarada was awake, looking at her father.
"Good morning," she said, drinking a bottle of water. He nodded at her, and she tugged his arm.
"Did you do it?" She asked, whispering into Sasuke's ear.
"What do you mean?" He answered, looking at his daughter with a curious look.
"Like kiss and stuff," she said, and started to chug her water bottle immediately. Sasuke raised his eyebrows.
"No. U-Um, why ask?" Sasuke said, blushing a bit.
"I just want you guys to get along, I mean, I'd rather see you go back to your old selves than you arguing," she explained, fixing her red glasses.
"W-We don't argue, it's just that your mother and I don't like each other," Sasuke said. Sarada gave her father a injured look. They both heard yawning, and Sakura sat up, her pink hair all over the place.
"Hi, you two," she said after she yawned again. "Up and at 'em all ready?"
"Yeah, you never wake up early," Sarada said, shaking her head. "Now I know why I had 49 tardies in a row at the academy."
"But it's summer, Sarada, relax a bit," Sakura answered to her daughter, fixing her hair and putting it in a ponytail.
"It's never to late to prepare," Sarada pointed out to her mother, as she fixed her glasses again.
"Well, I'm gonna go to the cafeteria to go get some breakfast," Sasuke interjected. He stood up, and Sakura grabbed his shoulder, and pushed him back on the bed.
"You idiot," Sakura sighed. "Your wounds might open."
"I thought you didn't care," Sasuke said smiling. "Since you said you didn't love me." Sakura eyed at him for a moment. Sarada was looking at her parents with confusion. It was as if she was watching one of those cheesy romance movies her mother owned. The Notebook. Twilight. Imagine You and Me. Hello, Love, Goodbye. Totally cheesy.
"Fine, fine. You can go," Sakura said, waving him off. Sasuke snorted as he opened the door of his room, and he left.
"You don't have to be mean, Mama," Sarada said, looking at her mother.
"I wasn't. I was just.....well...." she trailed off. Sarada looked down. Sakura looked at her daughter for a moment.
"Your father and I were just joking around," Sakura explained. "Why would you be mad?"
"But what about those other times? When you punched him, basically rejected him, and you don't even want me to know about you life with him?!" Sarada exploded.
"Sarada—" Sakura tried.
"UGH! THIS IS JUST NOT WHAT I EXPECTED IT TO BE! I IMAGINED YOU AND HIM GETTING ALONG, AND WE LIVE HAPPILY TOGETHER!" Sarada bellowed, and then she started to punch the pillow, over and over again as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!" Sarada yelled, crying while she started to punch the pillow hard. The door swung open, and Sasuke was holding a turkey sandwich, and he ran to Sarada, worried.
"What happened?" He asked, looking at Sakura.
"I-I don't know," she explained. "She just burst."
"It's okay, it's okay Sarada. What's wrong?" Sasuke asked while he comforted his daughter.
"Why...do...you...guys..hate.....each.....other...." Sarada said through sobs.
"What?" Sasuke asked. Sarada slammed her head into the pillows and sobbed loudly. Sasuke glanced at Sakura, who was making one of those 'fuck this shit I'm out' faces. He heaved a sigh.
"What did she say?" Sasuke said in a smooth tone.
"Oh, its um, nothing," she lied. Sasuke narrowed his eyebrows.
"I'm serious, what the hell did she say?" Sasuke asked once again. Sakura looked down.
"She said that she was expecting us to get along," Sakura said, watching her daughter sob in the pillows. "That we would live happily.....together."
"S-She s-said that?" Sasuke asked her. Sakura gave him a slight nod.
"Well, why don't we make it happen?
