————— Dylan —————
I stood there watching the five young guys jumping around on the small stage. They were full of so much energy and you could tell they enjoyed getting to do these shows. The five guys that I am talking about are none other than One Direction. I am currently stood front row at one of their Up All Night tour concerts. The room's atmosphere was filled with many different emotions ranging from bright smiles to never-ending streams of tears. I was proud to be sporting one of those smiles. I loved these boys.

Harry came to the side of the stage I was at. He sang and smiled and jumped around, touching people's hands. We all cheered and sang along enjoying the attention from the young guy. It was so ecstatic. I was having so much fun even though I came here alone. I had even made a few friends while we were waiting for the show to start. It made the time go by so much faster and it was fun having someone to talk to who liked the same things as you.

"Niall was totally checking you out Dylan!" My new friend, Bianca, said squeezing my arm and winking after Niall left from our side of the stage. I knew that wasn't true but a girl can always dream of her celebrity crush checking her out. I flipped my hair playfully back at her, going along with what she said. We both laughed with each other and turned to continue watching the show. My face was lit up with excitement and anticipation of the rest of the show. I was sweaty and my heart was beating fast with pure adrenaline.

The show had ended about 15 minutes ago and most of the people were still in the room. A bunch of girls were huddled in groups calming each other amidst the many tears. You knew they really cared about these boys, as did I. Now was about the time "post concert depression", as it had been dubbed by many, was beginning to set in. It's surreal how much anticipation is built up to a 2 or 3 hour concert. And it goes by quicker than you think.

"Hey Dyl," I spun around to look at Bianca, "I'm about to leave, my sister is waiting to pick me up. I hope we stay in touch. Text me." She said before handing me a piece of paper with her number and name scribbled across it. We shared a hug and then I watched as she made her way past some groups of girls and left out of the room. My face was hot and my heart was steadying it's pace from its previous racing. I looked at the paper before pocketing it and looking at the stage one last time. My heart was full of nothing less of admiration. My lips turned upwards into a smile and I slowly started to back away from the stage. I turned and started making my way out of the arena. I bit my lip thinking about everything that had come to an end just moments ago.

Once I finally got out of the arena, I checked my phone. The time read 11:43 p.m. My ears were ringing from earlier and I was also kind of disoriented. I put my hotel address in and started to walk that way. As I walked, I added Bianca's number to my contacts and texted her.

*to Bianca:
Hey Bianca! This is Dylan! Just wanted to let you know I was leaving the arena. I already miss you! Stay in touch*

I sighed and continued to the hotel. It was windy tonight and I was scolding myself for not bringing a sweater. I rubbed my arms in an attempt to warm myself up, knowing it wasn't working one bit. I decided to stop at a Mcdonald's and get something to eat because I was starving and I was also very thirsty. I ordered my food and waited for about fifteen minutes. Once I ate my food, I left and continued on my way back to the hotel.

I was across the street from the hotel when I realized a small group of girls around the door. I froze for a moment before brushing off any possibilities. That would never happen in a million years. I laughed at myself and finally crossed the street. I moved past the girls and walked into the hotel. When I was in the lobby, I pulled my phone out of my pocket again. I clicked the home button to check for any notifications. I had a few Twitter notifications, but other than that, there really wasn't anything else important. I then texted my parents to tell them that I was back at the hotel. I rounded the corner to the elevators and the door was about to close. It wasn't the end of the world if it closed, but let's be honest, I didn't want to wait. I wanted to get in my room.
