"What if your Mom doesn't like me?"
Marina Young's POV"What if your Mom doesn't like me?" The question itself had been floating in every free space of my head for the start of travel. I knew that it was starting to become more of a problem when the cannabis I took before the flight to ease my nerves had been part of my worries. But it was mostly my subconscious that was continuing to push the few words out for me to ask Harry. Which had caused him to smile amusedly when he looks at me as we sit in the private plane.
"Why would you think that?" I shrug my shoulders as I shake my head, unsure how to properly answer him on his question. I could make a list of reasons why I was worried that his Mother could possibly not like me, but I didn't know if he should hear them. "Do you think it's the drugs talking?" Harry brings up and I scoff now when I cross my arms. He wasn't necessarily wrong.
"Who said I was on drugs?" I mumble and I stare back at Harry.
He raises a brow in response. "Sunny baby, I saw you take the edible before we drove here."
"Yeah well." I didn't know how to finish off what I was saying and decide to just pout and look at Harry. "I'm just nervous." I finally confess when I seriously tell him that. "It's not like you have to meet my parents. I only have this chance with yours and I would like her to like me." I say and Harry frowns. He finally gives in when he grabs both of my hands and places a kiss on each one.
"Sunny baby," He leans forward to kiss my lips softly. "My love," Harry says another pet name, then looks me straight into my eyes. "You are an amazing person and I can tell you this with all my confidence that my Mum is going to love you." He states. It makes me smile softly at his comment, knowing that he meant it with everything in him. "So don't be nervous because everything is gonna be alright." Harry adds and I nod a little when he kisses me quickly.
"But what about your sister?" I then bring up and he looks at me with a warning. I raise my hands in defense as I glance away. "I'll stop." I give in and he smiles when he uses his thumb to rub circles over the skin of my hand. It causes me to calm down and rest my eyes for a little. We both did the same thing when would drift off to sleep every now and then, only to wake up and have small conversation until we made it the airport. Once we did we had gotten into a car right away to make it to the home he had in London already. He made sure to tell me the plan about staying there for the night and in the morning we would make the drive down to his mother's home. I was just grateful to be able to get some sleep as the moon now glows over another country. My concentration drifts off, entranced by the way it looked, high in the sky.
Every few minutes Harry would place a kiss to the back of my hand to keep me up with him. Then soon enough, we made it to his home. I stood outside the van as he took out the both of our luggage and took in the exterior of the house. It wasn't entirely what I expected, being much more cottage like and less modern compared to the one in Malibu. "Come on." Harry urges quietly as he places his hand on my lower back when he walks me into the home. He opens the door for me to go inside first as he follows behind then locks it. "The bedroom is upstairs." He tells me and I nod when I continue to linger behind him. I watch as Harry opens the last room in the hallway and places the baggage in the corner when I grin faintly at the way the room is furnished. When I look back at him, he lazily smiles back at me when he watches me.
