"Tessa can we stop watching The notebook? It's so boring and too fluffy for my style." I groan

"No Ave,  we watched the orphan for you! And I had nightmares for 3 days straight for God's sakes. Just please shut up and watch the film," Ella says

"Plus, it's a great movie." Tessa adds

"Okay fine, I'll watch it for you guys." I sigh

"By the way what time is it?" Ella asks

"Umm, 6:30 why?" Tessa says still watching the crappy movie. No offense.

"Holy shit, I'm gonna be late for my date"

"With wh- oh, Nick" I say

"Yep," Ella says popping out the 'p' and walking to her closet

"Tessa, should I wear this," Ella shows her aqua blue dress

"Or this?" And she shows Tessa her red dress that she wore in almost every single date she went to.

"Blue, Ella you wore the red one almost every single date you went." Tessa says saying my exact thoughts.

"Yeah yeah whatever, I'll go get ready. You guys wait here okay?"

"Actually I'm going to walk home and study algebra, well of course if that's okay with you guys." I cut her off

"Yeah okay, that's fine" Ella says

"Bye Ave! See you tomorrow at school" Tessa says waving her hands

"Bye Tessa, bye Ella!" I say copying her hand gesture and I walk straight home.

It's just a 15 minutes walk from Ella's house to mine, so we live pretty darn close.

When I reach my house I open the door to see my brother, Gavin in the kitchen making dinner?

Oh yeah did I told you that I have a brother?

Well I do, and he's 3 years older than me.

"Hello Ave!" He says smiling widely

"Uh hi? Gavin since when do you cook?" I look at a roasted salmon?

A burned salmon to be exact.

"I guess since never." He says, I chuckle at him and I hug him.

"But you're still my best brother"

"Of course, I'm your only brother." He chuckles as I walk to the living room

"Oh yeah sis can I borrow your phone? Mine's upstairs" he follows me and sits besides me

"Sure, what for?" I give him my phone,

"For ordering foods, duh." I chuckle

"Hey where's mom and dad?" I ask

"It's Thursday, their date night. Remember? "

"Oh yeah right, I'll be upstairs okay? Just tell me when the food is ready." I say, getting up.

"Okay" he says

I walk to the stairs and to my room

I go to my study desk and study algebra for I think 2 hours, but it feels like fucking forever because this bitch wants me to count her watermelons.

"I need a drink," I say and walk downstairs

I see my brother in the living room watching 'Saw III'.

God, i can hear all the blood and intestines coming out of the victim's body.

"Hey bro, where's my phone?" I ask from the kitchen.

"Uh in the counter, maybe"

I walk to the counter and grab my phone,

"Okay, found it."

I open the fridge and grab a can of coke, then walk back upstairs

When I reach my room I sit on the chair and check my phone,

*1 new missed call from unknown number*

Whoa who is this

Then my phone rings,

Unknown number is calling

I answer it, maybe it's important.

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is the Darnell's pizza we received an order earlier but the adress isn't very clear, can you repeat it now?" I sigh

"Okay its in 601 Bluewood Road, Ridgeland. Its exactly besides the Targloo supermarket"

"Okay thank you, the pizza will be there in 30 minutes. We hope you enjoy our pizza!"

"Okay thankyou" I say and I hang up.

After I finish my coke i continue to study algebra,

"Ave the dinner is here!" My brother shouts from downstairs, well that was fast.

It's only 20 minutes, great service darnell's pizza!

"Okay I'll be down in a minute!" I shout back

I walk downstairs and to the kitchen,

"The pizza is here?" I say

"Pizza? We're eating Chinese food silly." He chuckles, poking my cheeks.

"Wait didn't you order a pizza?" I say, confused.

"Uh, no I didn't" he says

"Oh maybe it's just a prank call from Ella or tessa" I shrug

"What? Wait I don't wanna know, let's just eat."

"Let's just eat indeed."
