"could you..promise me something?"

"of course, what is it?

"promise me that....if you ever leave...if you come back..promise me you'll take me with you when you come back.."

"of course...of course i'll come back for you! and you'll be with me forever!"

"that's a promise terra"

"that's a promise, toki"

                                                              ~a few years later ~

"superior" a phantom called, opening the big doors to his office. a groan escaped terra's lips and looks at the phantom. "yes?" he looked at his book on his desk. "she's here, superior." terra immediately stood up and ran past the phantom. he couldn't wait, he couldn't wait to see the face of his friend, his beloved that he lost years ago.

once he reached her room, he stood there for a moment. he suddenly got nervous to seeing her again after a few years but shook his nervousness and opened the door.

toki opened her eyes and sits up on the queen sized bed. she looked around to spot a male with silver hair. he wore a dark navy blue coat with a chain to keep his coat closed, a black polo and black pants. his yellow eyes looking at her blue one. toki realized her right eye is being covered by a bandage.

"who...are you?" toki asked. the silver haired man walked and sat beside her. "im terra, it's nice to meet you, toki" he said and ruffled the confused girl's hair. "how do you know my name?" she asked. "it's best if i don't tell you" he stood up and looked at her once again. "it's nice to have someone here other than those phantoms. if you have time, i'd like for you to meet me in the garden." he smiled at her and left her in the room.

a million questions popped up in her mind. 'who is he? how does he know my name? why does he look familiar? why am i here? why...don't i have memories of my past...?' she decided to ask him once she gets there. she looked at the attire she's wearing. a pink off shoulder dress with long sleeves. its has small flower designs at the end of the dress. she stood up and looked for the garden.

she sees a white door and opened it. there is a tunnel of pink roses leading her forward. she walked to where the lovely tunnel is leading her. once she arrived, she looked at scenery in front of her in awe. a garden filled with kinds of flowers, shrubs and bushes and a fountain in the middle. the fountain has roses in it.

"it seems you're liking the garden," terra's voice made toki jump a little in surprise. she looked at him and smiled "hello there, terra. do you mind if i ask you a few questions?' she asked as she sat on a bench. terra sat beside her and nodded.

"how do you know my name? why am i here? wh-" terra placed his finger on her soft lips, signaling her to be quiet. "i can't answer any of those..except to why you are here." his face sadden and looked down. "the reason you are here is because...we made a promise to each other toki. back when we were kids, i promised you that when i come back i'll take you with me and never leave you again.." tears slipped out of his eyes and fell to the wooden bench.

toki wrapped her arms around him and stroke his silver hair that was once brown. the male looked at her and gave her a toothy grin.

"i kept my promise"

"tokiiiiiii" terra whined, wrapping his arms around her. " alright, alright, i'll sing it for you" she sighed and patted his head. terra smiled and puts his head on her lap and closes his eyes. toki took a deep breath.

"Make my wish come true, let darkness slip aside

Hiding all our hope, mocking what we treasure

Battles we can win, if we believe our souls

Hang in for the light, till dawn

Fate will not leave you, hate will not heal you

Pray and one day, peace shall flow everywhere"
