FOR THE FIRST TIME in his entire life, Kuroo felt like he doesn't want to do anything anymore --- after the match between Nekoma and Kiyokawa, his friend (Y/N) had tried avoiding him consecutive times already.
And he's not gonna lie, it's making him hella shit inside. In other words, upset.
What made her act like that towards him anyway? Did she perhaps found something out, or was it something else?
Kuroo sat on his compfy couch with a troubled expression, he doesn't know what to do. Should he go and barge in her room and ask her why, or just let her be?
Just by remembering the way (Y/N) hide herself behind Kenma just by having him around made him feel really upset, because this never happened before.
Wait, Kenma --- Upon realizing this, the boy widened his eyes slightly immediately grabbing his phone, swiftly turning it on before finally dialing the pudding haired male's number.
The bed headed male patiently waited for Kenma to pick this call up, already thinking that he'll get scolded by him knowing that at this time of the day his friend is already in the zone.
Once he saw that the call is finally picked up, Kuroo immediately placed his phone near his ear, "Kenma! I have something to ask you--"
"You just ruined my win streak." The dual color haired male on the other line started, interjecting the older's words, his voice dripping with anger and annoyance.
Kuroo who heard the younger one's statement slightly flinched in fear at his friend, seems like he really did calles him in a very important time.
Now he feels regretting calling Kenma, but nevertheless, he wanted to know why is (Y/N) avoiding him in the first place, so it's worth it.
Hopefully the golden eyed male knows the reason behind her behavior.
"Why don't you ask (Y/N) directly?"
Kuroo couldn't utter a word just by hearing those words, ask her directly? What if he had done something bad, or she found out about something?
He's afraid.
Afraid of her knowing about his feelings and reject him, but above all, Kuroo's scared of the fact that their years of friendship might disappear because of it.
Kuroo's scared.
He knew he's a coward.
But what could he possibly do? If it means being able to stay by her side, he'll fine with anything.
That's how much he loves her.
"Ahaha! Okay then, I'll ask her. Sorry for ruining your win streak Kenma, make sure to eat dinner and sleep early! We still have a match tomorrow."
