Chapter XI
-Friends and Love!-
"R-ren! What are you doing here?!" I ask surprised.
He smirked. "Don't you see? I'm in the same class as you. Or else, I wouldn't be here."
"But how?"
"Well, don't ask me. I was just simply answer the test."
"No way." I said in disbelief.
"Well, whatever. I'm already here anyway." He said looking away. "But since you're here. I thought it'll be more fun." He said. I didn't answer anything, and suddenly he took my hands.
I gasped. "Ren! What are you doing?!"
"A polite way to meet lady?"
I quickly take my hand off of him. "You just looking for a chance!" I said angrily and walked out of the classroom.
"Angela, wait!" He yelled from behind me.
I didn't look behind but keep running. "Shut up! Just leave me alone!" I yelled.
I keep running without try knowing where I was going. And suddenly I hit someone and fell. "Ah!" I said as I hit the floors.
"I'm sorry. Are you okay?"
Did it seems like I was okay? I thought sarcastically. "Yeah. Sorry, I didn't where I was going." Then he lend me a hand, I took it and he helped me to stands up. "Thank you."
"Natsuki! Hurry up!" Said a boy with petite figure.
Natsuki turn around and saw his friends. "Be right there." He said. Then his attention turned towards me. "Now, you are okay?"
"I guess so." I said.
"Okay then. I'll go back to my friends." He said and start running to his friends. Then they walk away.
I shake my heads and start walking aimlessly, until I reach the farthest corridors then I saw Ayane. She was staring at the window.
I stare at her for awhile and I feel someone touch my shoulder, I turn around in reflects. "Oh, sorry. Did I scare you?"
"No. Just.. Make me surprised. How are you?"
"Im fine. Look, about yesterday."
I shake my heads. "No, Ayano. She didn't do anything wrong."
"But she's already out of her line! She didn't have right to say things like that."
I smiled. "It's fine. It seems she really like him so it's okay."
"Why did you gave him up so easily?"
"Just like what I said yesterday, Ayano. I didn't like him. Were just acquaintance."
"I'm really sorry, okay. Ayane has been like that ever since her bestfriend betrayed her. She loves to destroy someone's love."
"What do you mean? She didn't destroy my love, hence like I have someone I like. And what do you mean by loves to destroy someone love? Why did you tell me this?"
She sighed. "It's a long story."
*FLASHBACK*
(Ayano POV)
I was talking to my friends about the theme for our assignment and she came, Ayane came to me with a real sadness and pain.
I quickly look at her and hug her. "Ayane, what's wrong?" She didn't said anything and still crying. "Ayane, what did you see?" I ask softly. She finally look at me, but still crying.
"Ayano, you better took her to the infirmary. We'll take care of this." Said one of my friends.
"Alright. Thanks guys." They all nodded and I quickly take her to the infirmary.
She quickly close her eyes and didnt want to face me. "Ayane, it's okay if you didn't want to tell me anything. But don't torture yourself." She didn't say anything. "Alright. I guess you need some time alone. I'll leave." When I get up she quickly take my hands, I gasped.
"No, stay."
I sit again and look at her. "So, what you want to tell me?"
She cried. "It's Melissa."
"Melissa? What's wrong with her? She's your bestfriend, isn't she?"
"Not anymore, that backstabbing devil. How could she do that."
Then she cried again. "H-hey. If you're not ready to tell me this then you better don't tell me."
She sobbing. "N-no sis, I really need to tell you this." I nodded. "So, when I was trying to watch him practice, his teammates said that he just left with a girl, and so I followed him. And I finally arrived at the storage, and-" She cried again.
"No need. I know what happen next, honey. She's such a slut." I said with rage, it's the first time I said the forbidden words. It's because someone dare to hurt my twins. "Don't worry, Ayane. I'll get your revenge."
"Don't sis. I have something in minds." She said with the look I've never see in my whole life, then everything changed. She's not my Ayane anymore.
The next morning I saw Melissa was lying on the fields, she was half-naked. I quickly call everyone to get the ambulance because she has a few bruise, and a slit on her wrist, even if it's not too deep. And her hair, it was messed, she didn't have long hair anymore and she looks really traumatized.
And then I saw it, the smirk on my twins face. I don't know who she is anymore.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
(Back to Angela POV)
After she told me everything it seems like it wasn't real. But she manage to tell me that it was real.
"I-I can't say anything."
She smiled weakly. "Yeah. Nobody can say anything after that I bet."
"No, it's just.. How can she do that?"
She sighed. "I don't know anymore." Then she look at Ayane weakly.
"That's why she was so possessive on him."
"Yeah. I was just afraid if she will do something on you, Angela."
"It's okay. I'm sure she'll not do anything to me." I look at her and start walk to her.
I touch her shoulder and she freaked out. "Angela, what a nice guest." She said with smirk. "Still wanna talk about it?"
I shake my heads. "No, Ayane. I just want to ask you something. Between friends and love, which one you will chose?" She was surprised, but before she can answer the bell rang and I had to go back to my class.
I left her there to by think the answer of my question.
